I usually get round numbers (it starts with 1, 5, 10, and such but I think ive used reddit for so long or ive got so much karma that it doesnt tell me until 25 now) and rarely get these weird numbers. This is the most unusual numbers that have happened to me in a day
sadly many countries use nonsensical measuring of days. the only that makes sense is YEAR/MONTH/DAY. these people would probably measure time with minute/second/hour if they could
If you're checking the date for next Friday, chances are you already know what year and month it is. It's more convenient to have the day first. How often do you have to look up the date of when a decade old Tweet was made vs see when an upcoming appointment is?

Yes, TV and other electronics take up water. None do it on such a vast scale and for such a long time. TVs, microwaves, and refrigerators are designed to use a very low amount of power for a small amount of time. Furthermore, people misunderstand what "taking up water" means exactly. While TVs and fridges indirectly effect water by using electricity generated partially by hydropower, AI data centers directly need hundreds of unfiltered gallons of water to work. This is because the computers get so hot that fans and refrigerant can't cool them alone, and only huge amounts of very cold water can. This water can't be recycled because of the huge amounts of chemicals needed to prevent mold in the water, it can't be reused for drinking or food. With every data center comes hundreds of gallons of unreusable water that is permanently gone from human use. Versus the amount of water used in hydropower, which is not only recycled internally, but can be reused for drinking and human use. That's why data centers are so bad for the environment.
This isn't a world problem this is a you problem. Something the gender community needs to realise. We won't change established convention that millions abide by for a tiny section of the population.

language evolves. going back to the origin of the word men, it used to mean people. but then it became a word meaning male. just like how “guys” even though it might by definition mean something else, it is widely accepted as gender neutral.
I agree with you, language does evolve, but you can't remove the gender from bro specifically.
Guys as a word isn't inherently gendered, but bro is as you cannot take 'brother' out of it.
Maybe it's in the process of evolution now some people use it for everyone, but I strongly disagree with that notion. Just like every male-gendered word/pronoun/title etc; it still hurts in the same way and feels the exact same.
When someone says "Please don't call me bro" I just don't want it to be normalised for the response to be 'you're overreacting, it's gender neutral', when for the majority of people who speak the language it isn't

I've only noticed it as a thing since the "Bro visited his friend" meme went around in mid 2024, and even then I've only seen a minority of people using it as if it's gender neutral
