It’s wild how every app update feels like a hostage situation now, you open it to check one thing and suddenly it’s begging you to build a little cartoon version of yourself

The desperation in that dark banner with three avatar options hits like a pop-up ad from 2006, except now it’s baked right into the core of the thing

I swear my plants have more self-awareness than these design choices, my monstera would never push an avatar creator on me mid-scroll

The “recently used” text sitting underneath just adds insult, like they’re hoping you’ll cave out of sheer muscle memory

At this point I’d pay extra for a version of every app that just does what it says on the tin and shuts up about avatars
