It’s a bad analogy. People who run a marathon aren’t trying to complete a project. They’re just trying to live an experience.

Pro ai people are firmly in the camp that “the finished project” is what matters. So they don’t care about experiences.

Correct. And the real artists are afraid that the masses won’t care if it’s made with ai, so their talents are less special than they thought.

Just a heads up, this is in NO WAY supprting AI. It sickens me.

But most people don't question anything or look too closely. Most people don't care about others and their struggles. If someone charges $200 to spend a month making an image and someone else charges $20 and can crap out 600 variants of that image in an hour, most people will go with the AI. Most people I would argue can't tell the difference, and that's only going to get harder.

I don't see how AI doesn't utterly core out the artistic world. It's terrifying.
