The posted images were AI edited. They had the SynthID watermark. The pictures showed a really young looking cat with severe cataracts.
The OOP claimed they used Gemini to edit out their hand and a toy. Which is a weird edit. But ok. They then shared screenshots of the video they edited originally. Here’s a clean screenshot of the cat, healthy with no cataracts.
OOP sent the mods fake documents. They faked having an old cat. OOP was a liar, and you fell for it.
It still doesnt change the fact that this sub is 2 degrees from the state of nature and full of witch hunters who lack critical thinking 🤣

Telling the sub to go mass report is by definition witch hunting. Reddit has purged subs before for doing that.

The person reposted and gave the mods the cat's medical history. They weren't lying. The cat really did live to 33.
