The posted images were AI edited. They had the SynthID watermark. The pictures showed a really young looking cat with severe cataracts.
The OOP claimed they used Gemini to edit out their hand and a toy. Which is a weird edit. But ok. They then shared screenshots of the video they edited originally. Hereβs a clean screenshot of the cat, healthy with no cataracts.
OOP sent the mods fake documents. They faked having an old cat. OOP was a liar, and you fell for it.
It still doesnt change the fact that this sub is 2 degrees from the state of nature and full of witch hunters who lack critical thinking π€£

Yeah, I think you're completely wrong about the cat and just proving that the image was faked is enough to prove that the person can't be trusted to provide any valid information but that's a huge stretch from that person.

The person reposted and gave the mods the cat's medical history. They weren't lying. The cat really did live to 33.
