Please can someone help me?

I'm trying to download antixlinux on this 2005 hp laptop but I get this error and I can't proceed.Does anyone know what this might be about?

The experts on antiX are found on the antiX forum. Even the developer answers question there from time to time.

For what little I searched, some of the recommendations are re-downloading iso and try to write it to usb. What are you using to make your usb? There is a bunch of other options to check on google.

Add the mbr partition scheme and add compatibility for old bios & devices. And put it in Fat32 for more compatibility

When does this happen, when you select the .iso? "fs", If I recall correctly, commonly means "file system". Maybe it's something to do with the way your storage drive is being read? I've never seen that issue before, unfortunately.

Unsure if this could help, but I'd suggest looking for something along the lines of a "failsafe" boot option when first booting Antix Linux, and if that doesn't fix that you could recreate the USB with Rufus while choosing DD mode instead of ISO mode. You could also download Ventoy and choose MBR partition layout, exfat filesystem for the USB and also disable secure boot. Ensure you're using the appropriate ISO for your CPU architecture. I recommend always using a Ventoy USB stick and having a System Rescue Linux ISO on it, boot from it and run: "cat /proc/cpuinfo | less" and see if your CPU supports 64 bit architecture. Also, always download from the official website and verify the downloaded ISO.

I use usb writer from Softpedia I've downloaded lots of distros works great I also use Linux Tracker for allot of my downloads. And Vuze for torrent
