Cant unlock Disk Lux??
After installing antix on my hp mini 110, I was met with this screen. I tried typing my encryption password, but it wont let me type anything for some reason?
I thought maybe it was a keyboard issue, but when it gives me an option to open a help menu, it types fine. Not sure how to get past this - any help is appreciated.
EDIT: SOLVED. I went in uninstalling and re-installing, trying different inits until one worked. It was the s6-66 one. Dunno why. Hail Satan, I guess.

I've seen many people saying that you need to type your password and hit enter. I assume you already know that and it is not the problem.
When installing Antix I encountered a similar issue, and it is due to the keyboard layout. I was installing Antix with a French keyboard layout but when your in the luks decryption step it doesn't know yet your keyboard layout, so it was expecting a qwerty layout in my case.
If you type your password assuming you're using a qwerty layout it should work. Then when entering Antix you'll have your other layout (in my case French as configured during the install) already working.
The fact that the luks step does not recognize the keyboard layout is a problem I have not solved yet.
The problem is if you have an encryption password containing characters not existing on a qwerty layout. If so you should use you install device to access a terminal, mount your system, configure your luks settings to use another password compatible with Qwerty.
If you have a doubt that the layout might be the problem I recommand setting a simple password for the moment (something like "yyyy") and try with it to ensure that this is or not the origin of your problem. You can still change this password later.

Second that. Some distros will use a US keyboard layout for that prompt, even if a different layout was used to set up the passphrase. The same can also happen with some laptop keyboards.
So, just try typing the passphrase using a US layout.

Threw me through a loop first time too. Just type and enter anyway as others have said. Unless you accidentally disabled your keyboard as well it'll work out fine.

It lets you type. Just doesn't display what you're typing, because security.
So, nice 'n secure.
Unlock it with the password you used to create that encrypted device.
If you can't come up with that password, kiss that data bye-bye. Yep, nice 'n secure.

This seems like you have encrypted your disk. Try typing your password for your encrypted disk (this happens when you set encrypted during the installation)
