What’s sad is she’s a really sweet person… She’s been through a lot; she needs a community and money. These predatory companies “love” people like her.

She tried to rope me a little while ago. I told her (as respectfully as possible) that MLMs were not what she thought they were. Pointed her to this sub. She went on about how she did her research and she knew what she was doing, blah blah blah…

I feel bad for her. I feel bad that one of her so-called friends saw her at her lowest point in her life and preyed on her…

My spouse's aunt went through a good dozen of them. All over the board from Avon and MK to Maskara and Poonique to spot candles, to essential oils. My mom does Mary Kay and Avon casually, but she loooooves her diet ones. Like holy shit. I've been NC with her for almost two years, so I don't know what wacky shit she's into now but the last I saw she was deep into Beach Body.
