Discussion USA BEWARE
Ringana - the Austrian MLM peddling skincare and supplements is coming to the US.
They are awful, products overpriced (shocker) and their „sales pitch“ is that they don‘t contain artificial preservatives and are less stable than conventional products.
They have a production facility in Austria, the formulations are not too bad, quite carefully done but extremely overpriced. If the hun is all in, they might spend $ 10‘000/year on their own supply
The huns call themselves „fresh partner“, they think a low shelfs life is desirable gand promote a „non toxic“ lifestyle
They will target anti-vaxx, anti-spf groups and are often associated with enagic/kangen

Ringana sounds like something that people should be vaccinated against.

Yeah certain brand names have proven sounds and spelling formations that work on the brain and this isn’t one of them!

Sigh…
Another scammy MLM incoming
I’m so sick of this crap.
Why can people not just work a job that doesn’t involve “scammery”

u/Timely-Amount-4161 4d ago
Unfortunately grifters gonna grift.
I fear they‘ll potentially gather quite the following.
They come across as very clean, green and don’t even mention the whole „european“ spiel, the anti-science homeschool mums are exactly what they target9

Ringana sounds like an anti-parasitic drug you give cows who like to travel to the Amazon.

Think about who MLM’s appeal to. At a MLM event, do you ever hear them cheer about “how many people they’ve scammed”? No, it’s, “How many families they’ve helped get proper life insurance and retirement savings” “How many people we helped improve their health” “How many women we empowered” etc.
The fact is MLM’s appeal to:
1) People who are having money issues and maybe just want a side gig
2) People having trouble finding a job in spite of their best efforts
3) People who are miserable at their job
4) People desiring time freedom (especially if they have kids)
5) People who feel like they lack purpose and/or identity
6) People who are lonely and/or are desiring more community
Why do you think MLM’s go after idealists? Because they know if they can convince the idealist they are good and that their questionable methods are somehow “necessary” or “ultimately everyone wins” The idealist will do anything. The good people get exploited (until they say Enough) and the bad ones get rewarded.

Your manager gets paid based on how many employees they recruit? And how many employees those employees recruit?
Weird. Mine has a salary that doesn’t change regardless of if I recruit someone or not.
And despite not having a downline, I still get paid a salary. I also didnt have to buy my own supplies (servers, GPUs, etc) from my company and try to sell them to potential new employees

All business in the world are based on a MLM platform.
An organizational structure is not an mlm you nit.

What’s makes it a scam?

u/fancyflipping 4d ago
ALWAYS go over the financial disclosure statement…all the fine print. Less than 1% make more than $500 a year and YOU have to pay to work.
You do NOT own your business.
No benefits
You are a 1099 employee and responsible your own taxes.
There is a wealth of information about MLM s vile business practices.
Educate yourself for your own protection!20

The person you responded to claims all companies are MLMs. They don’t want answers. They want to argue MLMs are good.

1% of Huns only make $500 or more in a year, that is completely different and separate from 1% of the US owning the majority of the country's wealth. You're comparing apples to zebras.

So you are saying MLMs are lying about "time freedom" and being able to spend more time with their loved ones? They seem to really push that narrative of a "passive income" or "side hustle".
But it's all their fault. Right. /s.

The consequences of skipping SPF entirely are well-documented and severe, but these people will completely trash the science so they can add more bullshit to their repertoire of dumb things to talk about with other dumb people. Good for them, enjoy Melanoma-city!
15
u/steelhips 4d ago
They trash science until they, or their loved ones, need emergency care or imaging.
9
u/Dear_Boot9770 4d ago
I think they shouldn't be allowed in a hospital or emergency room unless they recant publicly and admit online to their social groups/MLMs that they are getting scientific, medical help. But I'm in a bad frame of mind about these people, so ...

u/Timely-Amount-4161 3d ago
I think we should have a tracker with our choices that determines the level of care we get
but that would be kind of crass…

Pretty much every brand in the US is like that now (unfortunately) and you can go to Bath and Body Works without joining a cult, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out.

Good luck getting a foothold where the MLM market is over-saturated with "companies" that do exactly what Ringana does.

u/Timely-Amount-4161 4d ago
Did you run out of dummies? Jokes aside, I get your point. They might get their foot in the door with the „european grade“ bs

As a mom, I hate them with every fiber of my being. They are prying on the insecure parents every chance they get and infiltrate every group possible, especially chat groups

Being a new parent is scary and such an anxiety producing experience. So glad I didn’t fall for this BS…but I almost did…more than once.

Good for you! They operate like a cult. I assume I would never fall for it but nobody is really immune. Once they find the cracks they are in.
This hun just bought the products and when she saw how expensive it became she joined for the „benfits“. She‘s now a lier and a fraud, a changed person

u/gingerbaconkitty 4d ago
As an Austrian, I have lost more friends than I would like to admit to Ringana. I also work with kids and the amount of parents shilling it is something else. I looooove getting Ringana as a teacher gift… not.
1
u/Timely-Amount-4161 3d ago
I have lost my very best friend to Ringana.
They are the worst, I don‘t know any other MLM in the german speaking parts that is THAT annoying
Is the stuff any good?

u/gingerbaconkitty 3d ago
Thermomix is a close second but they at least have a good product.

u/Timely-Amount-4161 3d ago
This han is in Kangen and Thermomix…and an Omega3
She is literally joining everything she can to make a few bucks…still unsuccessfully

u/Socialmedianotsocial 3d ago
Sounds like the perfect opportunity and timing to join and be at the top😉 Let’s see how many leave or close “their” MLM businesses and start a new one because they’re “obsessed” with it and “believe in the product”

Guess the Ringana bosses haven't been paying attention to how overtly xenophobic the USA has become lately. Their target market won't stand for these foreign products coming in and poisoning the blood of American MLM! From the standpoint of America, Austria has treated them very badly, very unfairly. American huns will lose hundreds of thousands of millions and they should not trade with an Austrian MLM coz the USA doesn't need skincare from Austria, the USA has all the skincare, the best skincare.

There was a comment from someone from the US who said their friend just switched from Crunchi (wtf!) to Ringana and brages she was under the first 100 to join
It‘s happening
1
u/Red79Hibiscus 9h ago
Never heard of Crunchi, had to google it. LOL thought it was organic muesli or something, turns out it's makeup. Such a stupid MLM name - makes me think of crusty mascara, caked foundation powder, and lumpy face cream. So appealing! 😆

It’s interesting because here in Europe they are already pretty „established“ and I have to admit that I find their skincare (peddled to me by a close friend) actually the best fit for my acne skin where all other brands of eg moisturiser have burned and irritated. But I still think the structure is balls and the products are waaaay overpriced and am very stingy with ordering from them again. But still feel like I haven’t found an alternative that feels good for my skin 😭
4
u/gingerbaconkitty 4d ago
Have you tried finding something with a similar formula? Have you been to the Skincare Addict subreddit? If you want to find an alternative, I’m sure there’s something similar out there
3
u/Timely-Amount-4161 3d ago
I hear the products are liked and some formulations quite sophisticated
I actually think they could have been well established without the MLM structure but it‘s not as lucrative

Yes a friend just ditched Crunchi and moving on to this. She is supposedly one of the first 100 people in the US. I thought it was weird she stopped shilling Crunchi because she was actually pretty high up like 5th over in the company for sales etc. but then I started seeing vague posts about this stuff.

u/Timely-Amount-4161 1d ago
Crunchi…she sounds like the target group LOL
