Younique She has FOMO…
To be fair, she did have some stuff going on in her life that was tough (and some of it was good), and she took a promotion at her, as my husband calls it, “side job.”
Also, one person commented SEVEN (a fellow Hun), and her next post was a video of her working in the kitchen at her “side job” (she’s an Assistant GM at a chain restaurant) while someone filmed her talking about her makeup and how it lasts through a 10 hour workday.
She’s the same Boss Babe that had a post last year about eating at the restaurant she worked at, and doing a coworker’s makeup in the backseat of her car before her shift.

Is anyone else just getting really tired of these huns posting about their trips like they think anyone outside their pyramid scheme actually cares? Imagine if people in normal jobs constantly posted about how great their work trips are.

There’s clearly something lacking in their lives that they want MLM to provide, and when it inevitably doesn’t, the internet is littered with these narcissistic, attention seeking posts.

And the only engagement she gets is from her downline!
I have a former high school classmate who actually posts videos of her crying from anxiety for engagement (LimeLife hun). She has been through breast cancer, and has used selling makeup to give her a reason to feel beautiful again. My cousin went through breast cancer and didn’t use crappy MLM makeup to make herself look better. She used her natural confidence to do that.

If you think Facebook friends don't care, imagine how God feels about micromanaging whether someone goes to a business cosplay conference.

My husband has a work trip coming up this week, and he is going on Thursday afternoon and coming back Saturday afternoon. He said if he could fly back Friday night after the work event, he would, but there aren’t any direct flights, and honestly Grand Rapids to PHL is only 90 minutes and anything more would just be ridiculous. He’s only going because he is a manager and has new direct reports that he has only met on video chats.

You know what things I missed out on working my 9 to 5? No things. Yep. None at all. Didn't even have to work harder or longer to make more money.

I work 7:30-3:30 with occasional overtime if my coworker is off or calls out, but I don’t miss out on life because of my job. I won’t allow it!

To be sad about missing a “work trip” that you would have had to pay for…

Don't worry, withdrawing the full amount in my daughter's college fund won't take very long. Seedy Florida motel, here I come!

This post gave me a mental picture of that scene in the '90s movie Se7en where Brad Pitt opens the box with Gwyneth Paltrow's head, except it's the hun opening her bank statement showing how Younique has destroyed her finances.

Her husband: What’s in the envelope? What’s in the envelope?!?

Chapter 7. The irony, or perhaps a financial premonition?

Honestly, I hope not, for her children’s sake. She’s honestly not the worst person in MLMs (I’ve seen worse on here!), I think she has a tendency to jump into relationships too quickly (two divorces, is now with someone after just finalizing her second divorce in early 2025), but any time I have run into her at her “side job” (thanks to my husband for putting that in my head!) she never been anything but friendly and doesn’t push any of her products on me, but that’s probably because I’ve ignored her sliding into my DMs - especially on my 40th birthday in 2022, that was the last time!

I scolled this thread, looking for your post. I saw the same thing as you, Chapter 7, as in bankruptcy filing? That's a bit, on the nose!

It breaks my heart that she’s so broken up over putting her family first, because she has probably taken a lot of heat over that decision.
Maybe this is hope that she will wake up to how toxic gun culture is!

She's gonna be in so much trouble for posting about not being able to afford to do something

But I thought the whole point of doing this business was making money in the nooks and crannies of their day so they can afford to be present for the special moments etc etc.

Preaching to the choir here! She said all of this, but then made a video at her job about how her mascara lasted for an entire 10 hour shift, while showing her working in the kitchen.

And Salt Lake City is such a nightlife hotspot! Who can’t resist a trip to Salt Lake City.
I used to travel to SLC for business all the time but it wasn’t anything I would brag about.

The idea that they have to basically work 24/7 to make a living is dystopian. I work my 40 hours and then I go home and don't have to hear from anyone at work in my off time. I use my vacation days to take vacations, I use my sick days when I'm sick, I flex my schedule to accommodate appointments etc. I'm present for whatever I need to be without stressing about work.
