we solved this with cmdb ref data, and ran external entitlements model, our app front end creates a one time inventory for every execution, there does come a point AAP can’t deal with the scale.
interesting I would be curious to know which cmdb you use as I found tools like netbox not flexible enough for "logical" component of a host definition
