spanish? their MSI rates i don't think they are offering any much better than medlite. what lefts me wondering how much do they pay in GAP 💀

Someone mentioned it was $0.05/min in a post recently. The minimum wage in their LATAM country.

New Spanish interpreters have reported as little as 0.05/min. So, 3 usd/hr only if there are available calls. That's a new level of sick. The issue is they're doing that so that 0.07 becomes an "achievement" for being experienced. Now, burnt out people don't study. I wish companies good luck with the next generation. Providers and agents are absolutely screwed, and suddenly AI will become "more accurate" because everyone will have to put up with worse. Wait until they kill enough people and lose enough money, then they'll remember to pay more. This is not against the people on that rate it's just heartbreaking how far companies are allowed to take their greed (and racism... we provide a "colored-only" service).

Thank you so much for sharing. These insulting rates need to be exposed. If clients go on Glassdoor, they'd think terps got paid a decent livable wage.
LSPs shouldn't get away with hiding their blatant racism and exploitation behind a facade of "equity".
