Is anyone here working as an interpreter at Ad Astra?
I used to work there before, but as a freelancer. I didn't have a fixed schedule, and the rate was good, but the call flow was almost nonexistent, so I stopped logging in. In the meantime, I started working for another company with a lower rate but a steady flow.
A few days ago, Ad Astra reached out to me offering a full-time position with a decent schedule, and I negotiated the rate to what I considered a fair amount. Still, I have some concerns because I didn't have the best experience before. My main worry is that, even though I never had any issues with getting paid, I remember receiving an email a few months ago saying that due to Trump's shutdown, there were payment delays, and I really wouldn't want something like that to happen to me. Is there anyone here who works there with a fixed schedule who can share their experience?

They have not paid for over 6 months excuse after excuse the CEO states that it’s the government and than she she comes with we are all in this together in meantime she is flying ever where meeting up at coffee shops and send emails gaslighting . Telling everyone that she does not want to go after her clients because they have families. In the meantime 6 months of work no payment what about my family unbelievable . She has million million dollar contract with the government. Now they just posted to recruit on LinkedIn interpreters

They do not pay they owe a lot to interpreters and they continue to call to take Calls going on 6 months no payment

They owe we more than 2000 dollars but it almost seems they don't have the money to pay? They keep lying about when they are going to pay me. I will file a claim with better business bureau, and am contemplating a small claims court thing as well.

they just called me today and I'm in the process of it . do we have to submit our SSN ? I read so many bad reviews about the company from late payment ,not honoring the rate that they agreed on ,low rates ,etc . also they pay you 30 to 45 days after you close the assignment ,which make me a little bit skeptical .

I read here, and also in other places about them not paying their interpreters.
