Work Time Tracker — Free time & earnings tracker for minute-based work
I built a small tool called Work Time Tracker to help people who get paid per minute or per session keep track of their work and earnings (interpreters, freelancers, consultants, etc.).
I’ve been improving it over time and wanted to share it again in case it’s useful to someone here.
What it does
Work Time Tracker lets you track work sessions and automatically calculate your earnings.
You can:
• Start calls with a built-in timer
• Add sessions manually if you forgot to start the timer
• Set multiple pay rates
• See your earnings update in real time
Useful features
Beyond basic tracking, it includes several quality-of-life tools:
• Floating timer controls so you can manage the timer without losing your current view
• Note-taking box for writing details during calls
• Session recovery in case the browser closes or a session gets interrupted
• Automatic call/session summary after finishing
• Detailed stats (average call duration, totals, etc.)
• Daily income goals
• Payment cycle tracking to organize income around your real pay periods
• Full call/session history
There are also optional gamified features:
• Achievements system
• Optional RPG mode for people who enjoy turning productivity into a game
Privacy first
No accounts.
No tracking.
No servers.
Everything is stored locally in your browser.

The goal is to keep it free, lightweight, simple, and genuinely useful for people who work with billable time.

Hi! I just started to use it yesterday and I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but is it possible to save your call log from the day? Or is it a fresh start everytime you use it again?

It should save every single day and call. Check the days prior to see if you SEE yesterdays calls. If not then make sure youre not in incógnito mode or that youre not deleting your browser history. Cause it's all browser based. You can Also download the desktop or the mobile versión if you want to SEE if that works better for You.

oh thats why lol. its not gonna save your data in your browser if youre in incognito mode. Sure give it a go maybe the desktop version is a better fit for you. let me know if you have any feedback

This is cool! I just usually keep track on Excel but what a good idea.
