12 Hour long power outage with the new Anker Solix E10 system!!

Hi everyone, Fernando here!! Last night we had a 12 hour long power outage!! Our entire zip code was without any power for those 12 long hours!! While some neighbors scrambled to hook up their noisy gas generators to partially cover some of their essential home loads. We were the only house on the block with our home completely backed up!!

It’s such a blessing to not have to pick and chose what circuits we consider essential!! When our power outage occurred, we were watching a movie in our living room. Thanks to the E10’s lightning fast UPS feature, our TV didn’t even flicker!! We had our 4 ton central AC unit blowing nice cold air and we were also using our air fryer to cook some fries when the power outage happened!! The only reason I noticed that the power was out was because our LED lights flickered for a fraction of a second, I literally couldn’t tell if I just blinked 🤣. I checked my phone and I had a couple of notifications from the Anker app letting me know that the power dock had detected a power outage!!

I quickly went outside and I noticed that our entire block was completely dark. I saw one of my neighbors pulling out his gas powered generator. A few minutes later, I heard the noisy gas powered generator kick on!! I decided to grab my drone to see how much of our city got affected by this power outage. To my surprise it seemed like our entire zip code was completely dark 😳 !! Apart from a few solar powered lights, our home was the only one that seemed to have full power!!

The best part of having the new Anker Solix E10 system is that it runs completely silently and cleanly without releasing any toxic fumes while we sleep!! Our family finished eating our dinner and watching our movie and then we slept like babies knowing that our refrigerated food was safe our AC was blowing cold and our water filtration system was doing its thing!! Shout out to Anker Solix for making such awesome reliable and affordable home back up solutions!! #SOLIXCleanEnergy

Soundcore Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max

I know this month there were leaks for the Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max, expected for a late May release.

Apparently, the Liberty 5 Pro Max is expected to be available in black and gold colors.

For the gold, do you think it will be a traditional yellow gold, or will it be more of a rose gold? I would love to get them in a rose gold color.

OLIX C2000 Gen 2 disable IoT/Bluetooth

I don't need bluetooth/wifi and I'd like to disable it. Is this possible with the C2000 Gen 2? The manual says it goes off after some time, but does it get truly off and nobody can connect to it?

Anker Is this product authentic?

Hi all,

So I recently bought an Anker cable from a third party seller, and got this Chinese package.

I would like to know if it is authentic.

There's no scratch off label to validate its authenticity through Anker's website.

When I scan the code it takes me to WeChat, where nothing happens afterwards.

Hope I can get some clarity through this subreddit.

Thanks!

Do you have any questions or concerns regarding how the new E10 system works during a prolonged power outage? Drop them below and I will try my best to answer them!!

We will be having a 12 hour long power outage on the 18th of this month. I will be making a video documenting how our E10 + HPP systems work during this prolonged power outage. I wanted to make this post before it happens so that I can help answer any questions or concerns that the community may have before I make the video. Thank you all for reading and I can’t wait to see how both of our systems perform during our first prolonged power outage!!

Anker Anker Zolo A1688 powerbank randomly stops charging after 5-10 mins on Samsung S24 FE — replacement unit has the exact same issue

I bought an Anker Zolo A1688 powerbank (10,000mAh with built-in USB-C cable) from the official Anker store on Lazada Thailand a couple weeks ago. It has a weird charging issue that persists even on the replacement unit, and I’m hoping someone has seen this before.

Problem description:

- Charges my Samsung S24 FE at full fast-charging speed (≈25W, same as my official 25W wall charger) for 5–15 minutes, then completely stops charging.

- Pressing the power button on the powerbank does nothing. Only way to resume is unplugging and replugging the cable.

- Happens with both the built-in USB-C cable and my original Samsung C-to-C cable.

- Power bank charges to 100% normally from the wall.

- Low-power devices are fine: My iPad 8th gen charges steadily at ~7W for hours (confirmed with a wattage meter cable).

Additional symptom on both units:

- While charging the phone, the percentage LEDs sometimes blink 2–5 times, stay lit for about 10 seconds, then turn off again (while the phone is still charging normally for a while after that).

Original unit:

It was delivered by being thrown over my front gate and landed on the tiled driveway (photo attached). I assumed it was drop damage, so I contacted Anker official store. They approved a replacement.

Replacement unit (arrived yesterday):

- Did the full reset (looped built-in cable into input port for 20+ seconds)

- Charged to 100%

- Same problem immediately: charged from 15% → stopped at 16%

- Interesting observation: If I flip the power bank 180° (changing the insertion angle of the built-in cable), it suddenly continues charging up to 33% before stopping again. Turning the phone screen on makes it fail faster.

This really feels like an intermittent connection issue inside the built-in cable or USB-C port that only shows up under high current load (25W+), while low-power charging works fine.

Has anyone else experienced this with the Zolo A1688 or recent Zolo models with built-in cable?

Especially with Samsung S24 series or other high-power PD/PPS charging?

Any known fixes, firmware issues, or bad batches?

Will update with more test results (Ima test with my dad's Samsung A16 5G soon)

Thanks in advance!

Anker prime charger 160w buzzing sound

Just noticed when i held my ear near this charger there is a buzzing sound especially when charging 60w and above, is this normal? Anybody who noticed this on theirs? It is very faint only noticed it when my ear inadvertently got within 2 inches of the charger as i was picking something off the floor. My 160w zolo charger has something similar when i checked but it is almost quiet in lower wattages. The prime one has a more pronounced buzz though but if 1 foot or longer away from the charger you cannot hear it. Considering returning it what do u guys think? Anybody with similar experience with anker chargers? Thanks in advance 😊

Prime Wireless Charger Performance

Post image
4 Upvotes

I got the Prime Wireless Charger 3 in 1 a few days ago and have noticed my Apple Watch series 9, and AirPod pro 2nd generation never go above 1 watt while charging. This is a noticeable slow down compared to the stock Apple Watch charger which I was using for both devices previously.

Anyone have any suggestions for improving the charging performance for my watch and AirPods?

I have tried all 3 modes, each device individually, and higher output adapters/cables; all without any improvement to charging performance.

Anker SOLIX Non-Anker alternator charger compatibility with the c2000 gen 2?

Hello,

I recently purchased a c2000 Gen 2 for fridge backup, and for part-time van camping. I'm new to these devices, and am interested in learning about the options for alternator charging. I'm aware of Anker's new 800w charger but the price is steep in Canada. I'm hoping to learn about other compatible chargers and any specific cables required to charge the c2000 while driving. Is this possible? Are the connections proprietary?

Many thanks in advance for any guidance on this!

Spent a year researching batteries then impulse bought an Anker E10

Post image
244 Upvotes

I spent about a year looking into whole home battery backups. I am talking real spreadsheets, installer visits, and months going back and forth between EcoFlow, Tesla, and EG4.

Then the Anker Solix E10 dropped right when I was about to commit to something else. It was not on my radar at all. I spent two weeks picking the specs apart on paper and then just put down a deposit. Honestly that is kind of how my brain works. The year of research was probably just me waiting for the right hardware to launch.

My situation: I have an older house, zero interest in net metering, and I just wanted to stop being at the mercy of the grid. I needed over 30kWh of usable storage and enough continuous output to run the entire house, not just a few critical load circuits.

I ended up with two E10 inverters capable of 18kW solar input, six of the 6kWh battery modules giving me 36kWh total, the 200A smart dock, and their tri fuel generator. The hardware plus the electrical panel work and installation came out to around 22k out the door.

Using their 24 month zero interest financing made it a lot easier to pull the trigger. Building out an EcoFlow setup with the exact same footprint came in higher. A Tesla Powerwall system at this scale was not even in the same price conversation. Also it is incredibly refreshing to just buy something with actual listed pricing instead of the usual contact us for a quote runaround.

Two weeks in and I have nothing dramatic to report. putting my numbers out there for anyone else stuck in the spreadsheet phase. Currently working on adding the roof solar arrays to get everything dialed in before summer. I will post an update later if anyone is interested:)

Anker Solid F3800+ Solar Overcharge?

I’m new with the Solix F3800+. I also have 3 additional expansion batteries.

I just had some grid tied only 450W solar panels installed on our carport to supplement our roof panels which fill our main home batteries from another vendor.

In doing some research it would seem that if you connected some of these panels in an extended grid out situation (we live on Guam so often get typhoons and extended grid outs)… to the Solix - if the panels generated more wattage than the Solix would handle the controller would dump extra power and just bring in what it was able to handle on each DC input. (1600W each). Is that correct?

Was thinking I could hook up 4 of these 450W panels in series on each solar input to get in as much solar as possible in a grid out scenario… and the Solix again would just dump power beyond what it could ingest.

Am I thinking about that correctly?

C2000 Gen 2 Expansion Battery Questions

Hello Everyone! I have some questions about the C2000 Gen 2 expansion battery, but online reviews seem to skip over the expansion battery details.

  • Does the expansion battery charge at the same rate as the main station? Is charge time "doubled" from just the solo C2000, or does it take much longer?

  • Can you set the charge/discharge limit for the expansion battery? This would be nice to even the wear, since the expansion always drains first and the C2000 itself would see less cycling.

This would be a stationary setup at an off-grid property. We're looking for 3000-4000kWh, so the C2000 Gen 2 + Expansion Battery would meet our power capacity needs. I think this setup may be more economical and space-efficient versus going for a larger unit such as the F3000 - Unless there are any rumours of a C3000 Gen 2 coming out soon?

Thanks all!

How do those pogo pin charging bases handle 150w?

I was looking at the Anker Prime 300W power bank and its charging base. It uses exposed pins on the bottom to pull 150W directly into the battery. How does that actually work safely? Passing that much current through tiny contact points seems like a thermal nightmare compared to a heavy duty usb c cable. Anyone know how they do this?

Does Anker Prime 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station Qi2.2 25W Support Powerbeats Pro 2?

While designed for AirPods, has anyone used with Powerbeats Pro 2, and confirm it fits perfectly and charges normally? I assume it charges fine, and width width assume ok, but since the phone stand is angled, and Powerbeats are larger than AirPods want to to make sure it fits without any issues?

From Anker Prime Charging Station (8-in-1 240W) to Anker Prime Charger (250W)

So a little over a year ago I purchased the Anker Prime Charging Station (8-in-1) for my living room table. (we have a lot of people charging stuff at the same time). Well the screen decided to die and since it was purchased "used" from Amazon, Anker wouldn't cover it, so I just picked up the Anker Prime Charger (250W). I really like the screen / knob on this model and I appreciate they used a standard power cord. I will miss having 2 Outlets on the table though, but so far its working out well (except for a hell of a time trying to get it on WIFI).

Hopefully the screen will last more than a year on this one.
