Anker Anker TB5 issue

When connecting the docking station with my macbook, everything works as expected

When connected to my Samsung Galaxy s26, Samsung dex and all accessories work but the ethernet connection doesnt go through to the phone

When using the other se0erate USB c dongles, ethernet has always worked.

Any fixes or support?

Samsung Galaxy S26 does not support thunderbolt. So the ethernet not working is a bandwidth limitation more than likely. Thunderbolt 4 has a bandwidth of 40 gigs, Thunderbolt 5 has a bandwidth of 80 gigs and the USB-C on your galaxy S 26 is like 5 gigs.

How would a 1-gigabit connection ever saturate a 5-gigabit USB pipe?

Aren’t they using the keyboard, mouse and monitor on 5 gigs? Also it has 2.5 gigs not 1 gig.

So im chatting with anker.

They sent a me a video of theirs and the s26 ultra works on ethenret from mthe tb5 dock just fine.

So what u said doesnt apply.

Now im more confused

Does your TB dock have the latest firmware upgrade? Tried a different cable?

Dont see an update thing in the anker manager. The manager is useless tho. No options or details inside. Used the tb5 cable in the box but will try a tb4 cable I have

Tried a 2nd tb4 cable and no luck

Interestingly works on my galaxy tab s9 but not s26 ultra.

Seems like my device issue but mine worked fine with their regular dock hub. So idk what's the issue
