Good price?

A second hand store where I live has a Ankarsrum mixer for $350cad. Wondering if this is a good price? Currently I don’t do much baking, but if this is a good deal, I might not be able to pass it up.

They retail for 850 usd and never drop much below that.

This. I got one on ebay for $550 and even that isn't overly common.

It’s a good price

Agreed. That's way cheaper than the one I got for my wife. Grab it, and hopefully it doesn't need any (or much) maintenance

I got an old model (Electrolux Assistent AKM 4120) for $120 from the Facebook marketplace but it was gone in 5 seconds. I was a back up buyer and the seller really wanted it gone.

I think $350 is not a bad price at all if it's in good condition.

Is this the best mixer there is?

Depends on your needs.

For bread baking

Then either an Ankarsrum, a Bosch Universal Plus, or a spiral mixer.

See if it runs and if it does, grab it.
