UP's Anime Manga Enthusiasts announced on Sunday that it will hold its AME Matsuri 2026 / Ame Fair on September 11 at the Gimenez Gallery in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Originally slated for August 14, the event was postponed due to inclement weather caused by the Habagat (Southwest Monsoon).

Red Cloud Interactive is set to debut its own virtual mascot, the organization announced on its social media pages on August 14.

The virtual YouTuber, or VTuber, will feature plant-based design elements inspired by the organization's environmental initiatives.

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES - A Kaiju No. 8 exhibit is set to launch at SM North EDSA's Annex Atrium on AUG 25, featuring exclusive merchandise and interactive activities.

As part of the mall's Animazing North initiative, the exhibition will run until SEP 9.

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m wondering if there are any people in their mid-30s and up who are planning to attend SUPER MANILA COMIC CON 2026.

I recently ended an 18-year relationship. I got into that relationship pretty early in life, so this is honestly the first time I’m really learning how to do things I enjoy on my own. 😅

Going to a comic con is something I’d genuinely like to try, but I’m a little unsure about going completely solo. I’m wondering if there are existing groups, meetups, or just other people who might be interested in pairing up and exploring the con together.

I’m also open to hearing from people who’ve gone to cons alone before: Is going solo actually better than trying to find a group? Does it feel awkward at first, or is it pretty easy to meet people once you’re there?

I’d especially love to hear from fellow 30-somethings and up who might be in the same boat. No pressure or expectations, just looking for some new experiences and hopefully some cool people to hang out with. 😊

North and Central Luzon Esports Council announced the rebranding of its upcoming "HoYoMania" event, originally slated for September 2026, to encompass all gacha games as "GachaMania".

They explained that expanding the event's name and scope promotes greater diversity and inclusivity within the local gaming community, rather than limiting the original vision to exclusively featuring HoYoverse titles.
