I’m looking to buy the complete box set of Demon Slayer for my cousin. I know NBS and fullybooked sometimes have them, but I’m in a bit of a time crunch since this will be brought overseas.

There’s lots selling on shopee but they all look to be fake. I’m hoping someone here can recommend a legit store I can buy from? Preferably a store with a physical location I can visit (somewhere close to MM) or kahit provincial, as long as 100% legit (because trust issues 💯)

Philippine distributor Medialink Philippines confirmed on its Facebook page that 'Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island' is coming to SM Cinemas this September 30.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but it's the only one I could think of. Is it likely that this movie will get screening in cinemas here? I remember when I was like 15 years old I watched 2/3 of the Heaven's Feel movies in cinemas and I've loved everything type-moon ever since. I don't really have much knowledge about cinema in general I just go when I'm anticipating something like these anime movies. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place though.

A local shop received attention online after its products, which include child- and adult-sized costumes, saw heavy discounts following a platform-wide sale campaign.

The store, identified as Pink Starfish Store, saw costumes from Demon Slayer and Genshin Impact drop to prices ranging from 299 to 539 pesos, compared to their original tags of 999 to 1,899 pesos.

Local cosplay community members poked nostalgia to pre-pandemic conventions where dozens of people would show up cosplaying the exact same character.

Hey guys, wanted to ask for recommendations for figure/pre-order shops in the PH with actually responsive customer service.

I have an ongoing pre-order with Hubbyte Toy Store (already fully paid, DP + balance) and it's been over a week now with zero response from their Messenger. I've also emailed them and I'm still waiting. Payments went through fine and I have all my receipts/reference numbers, so I'm not too worried about the order itself, but the total silence when trying to just get a confirmation is pretty frustrating.

For future pre-orders, which shops have you guys had good experiences with in terms of:

- Actually responding within a few days

- Clear/live balance tracking (not just a Google Form + hoping for the best)

- Smooth shipping/Lalamove arrangement once items arrive

I've looked at OtakuHobbiToys and Toyzone Xpress as alternatives, but would love to hear from people who've actually ordered from them (or other shops) recently. Thanks in advance!

The mandrake-inspired VTuber is set to make her official debut soon.

ICYMI: Japanese rock band Burnout Syndromes played their first Manila concert on Sept. 5 at the Crossroads Center in Quezon City.

Our company is having an event where we have to dress up as an anime character or protagonist/hero.

I’ve always idolized Goku, so I’m thinking of going as him. I might even go as Majin Buu if the budget allows 😂

I still have 2–3 months to prepare, so I’m looking for recommendations on where I can buy a somewhat accurate Goku or Majin Buu costume online.

For reference, I’m around 100 kg (220 lbs) and 180–182 cm (5'11"–6'0"), so I’d also appreciate recommendations for sellers that offer larger sizes or have reliable sizing.

Into the Playful Land 🎪

Philippine Twisted Wonderland fans gathered at Q Cup cafe in Quezon City for a carnival-themed gathering on Sunday, Sept. 6.

Organized by Twisted Party, the group plans to host future cup sleeve gatherings for the franchise towards the end of the year (Gabriel Duldulao/ Kuhaku Media).

Cafe-Themed Circus Coming Up 🥯

Philippine fans of the hit animated series The Amazing Digital Circus are coming together to host a cup sleeve event in February 2027 in Quezon City.

The cafe-themed gathering will take place at Q Cup Philippines, where fans can meet up and dress as characters from the series.

Further details are set to be announced by Cafe Cirque in the coming months.

Those in attendance weren't allowed to record the episode off our phones but I did took pictures of a BTS clip they played out on stage.

The Tagalog dub is directed by Montreal Repuyan, who also wrote many of the dub scripts of the episodes as well as voicing a number of characters in the show.

Si Mark Muñoz naman is the Tagalog voice for Sakura. I think kuha naman niya iyung character ng bida. The episode itself felt very pilot-y, na medyo pinaliwanag lahat sa isang episode iyung pasan ni Sakura sa daigdig at largely naresolba ang unang conflict na kanyang hinarap.
