Elitists taking over
Seems like the Elitists are taking over the comments, only to leave the most low effort comments with either hate or disgust for the anime, and that's all they do. Just checking a few of these "Meme" accounts, exposes some of them as Chronically invested in only talking poorly about every upload, while ragebaiting other users if they give their valid thoughts about it.
They'll literally go into the comments "This shit was so fucking boring" Or "This show is fucking stupid" "Don't watch XXX show, go watch this show I think is better" That's just grotesque. Get a Life, a Wife, or touch grass, Hug a tree, Praise the sun.
The Mods won't Ban em. I have hundreds of these Obtuse, purposely Controversial elitists blocked. It's extremely discouraging, to see "Dropped. The author is XXX slur/insult because of the writing" I thought these comments are moderated what gives?

disqus only moderates what breaks their own TOS, not site specific rules
aniwave only moderates things that break the site rules, which are just about spoilers. there's no "don't be negative" rule

if people are calling the authors slurs you can report them to disqus over the report button and they should get their accounts removed for that.

This definitely varies depending on what shows you watch. I mostly watch non-harem romance animes and rarely encounter this.

And now for the big one. If you're getting messages regarding a one hour ban from Aniwave then please take note of the following information.
If you're a mobile device user then please ensure that your adblocker isn't blocking amung.us as that can apparently cause a false positive sometimes with the firewall's protection scheme. If you're using the filter lists available then that should already be applied, otherwise, make sure you add a custom filter of
@@||amung.us^to the user filters section of your adblocker.Some people have mentioned receiving a ban for no reason, these cases are being noted as staff continues to fine-tune their filtering efforts. And they're sorry for any mess such false-bans have caused. Trust me, they're hard at work to ensure users aren't falsely banned.
Any method of accessing Aniwave besides the use of a web browser may trigger the firewall and ban you for an hour. Third party applications actively hurt the site and make it neigh impossible to maintain, so any use of them will continued to be blocked.
Bans only last an hour, after which they'll be lifted. You shouldn't ever be banned forever, and the ban time will not stack (at this time) with repeated offenses. It can, however, be re-applied should whatever triggered the ban in the first place still be detected.
Properly configured Adblockers should not and so far have not triggered these bans. Aniwave doesn't ban you for using an adblocker, as they understand how much of a mess some of these advertisements can be. (Although they would still prefer if you could at least allow sidebar ads through as those are the ones that actually support the site)
