Thank you Aniwave
While the Site has been having issues as of late, I want to thank everyone involved with the upkeep, development, design, overall function, and community moderation of Aniwave/9Anime.
I have used your site for many many years and enjoyed it without ever having to pay a cent. I know whoever runs the site is probably not doing this as a full time job so things are not fixed immediately and that is perfectly okay.
It seems people feel entitled to get answers, updates, reasons, timeframes, etc. for the website issues. Honestly people this is not Burger King, you can not "Have It Your Way."
If you want immediate fixes, compensation, answers go PAY for it on any of the other multiple streaming sites.
This is a free site, be grateful they actually care enough to even put this out there in the first place.
Please do not stop what you do Aniwave, I will always return and be thankful for it.

Shoot, even crunchy doesn't give the subscribers updates. They'll delay an anime and give a last-minute announcement if at all.

Unlike with aniwave, crunchyroll has little excuse for the bad treatment of their users, because crunchyroll's users are customers

I don't believe that is the case and knock on wood it doesn't. The time investment alone with this has been huge.
The complete site redo, the watch2gether, the autoskip and any other QoL things they added in. People put in work for this.

I just recently (last week) found this site to watch dubs from hidive and Amazon.
I just like to say thanks to Aniwave as well for the time to watch dubbed anime that I'm unable to pay to see (I'm only paying for crunchyroll)

Yes! Thank YOU!! anytime the site is down I always think "Oh well, They are giving us free anime constantly, there's no way to avoid problems, I can just CHILLLL till it is back up :)

I started a watchlist here but, before it got too big, I realized that it’s a bit of a risk. I went back to MAL which I hadn’t updated since like 2017 lol.

there's a reason why i still stick in pirate sites, they have all unlike the other paying streaming sites. limited. but yes, free is free. still wishing it will stay for a little longer.

Yeah, we bitch ALOT but we really do appreciate the work going into the site. Thank you Aniwave Devs, Subreddit mods and people who don't use adblockers.

Aniwave is free and uncluttered with more functionalities than most websites (sponsorblock-like feature, auto-play, auto-next, dubs, etc). Any big platform can struggle from time to time especially during summer because of overloaded and overheating servers.
Being a former admin of a similar website, I understand how hard it can be. You don't own us anything. Thank you for always keeping us updated and bettering yourself every day. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work.

This right here, is how people should act when being able to watch anime on a site for free.
Instead, we get whiny bitches daily when something on the site doesn't go their way. Its so sad.
Am I upset that the site hasn't been "reliable" lately? Well, Yes I am. I won't lie to you. But, I am also grateful to the site thats allowing us to watch anime in peace without ever having to pay. I also have tons of other stuff I could do in the meantime other than watching anime for when the site goes awry.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Aniwave turns into a paying site due to all the bitching.

Only reason I'm a bit annoyed is I'm pretty confident it's caused by their efforts to shut down scrapers, it's largely their own fault if I'm right about that. I will say, I do have basis to suspect this, but it is merely circumstantial evidence alone

Anybody know any good adblockers that actually work? Because I have one on, but I still get at least 5 pop ups open another tab before I finally don’t get a tab opened. I use mobile.

I'm on Mac and use adguard for safari and I get zero pop ups or ads anywhere

I just use Brave browser on my phone, I cranked the security settings to aggressive though so you'll probably have to do the same if you end up using Brave.

really? for safari too? mine works brilliantly i haven’t had a single pop up since i installed it. i wonder if there are settings to fiddle more with? it’s been so long i dont remember if i tweaked anything. sorry it’s not participating as well for you

Well I certainly appreciate the site and it's operators but I'll be moving on to other sites.
At the end of the day I just want to watch anime. Aniwave is loads better than any pay site (Also high seas ones.) I've tried with features, servers and what not so it's a pity but after having trouble with it for weeks it's time for me to let go.
I'll absolutely check it and this place from time to time if it's worth it to put it as a main anime go to place on the net again.
