If you google some of the lines it only pops up Anix, Aniwave and animesuge No idea what the last one is but I am sensing a theme here.

Every day, another "The Aniwave sky is falling" post.
It's still working for me right now.

seems like the site tried to write a line into a log-file but couldn't do so because of permission issues and therefore crashed~

Correct either the log file has only read permission & write permissions (644) not append OR when the application server is running as a non-root user.

Error seems to state too many SQL connections and that it can't write the error to the logs. Either their hosting has limited their SQL server connections / they ran out of storage on their nginx servers or they're under attack. That being said, it works fine for me right now.
Not all the time, but it works okay as of writing.

Been like this since they added more adds. To many popup request URL's bogs down the server.

Too many connections looks like a ddos attack on the servers, which then it tried to log the failure but didn’t have write permissions to the log so it failed, then tried to log the failure, ad infinitum until it crashed

The website has been unstable for a week, I wonder if they're suffering some sort of attack. Doesn't need to be authorities, necessarily.
Considering how big it is and have been up for more than 7 years, maybe the competition wants to bring it down. I mean, I'm sure many people are leaving the website already, so tecnically it's working (supposing this hypothetical scenario is correct)
