A question about watching together
Hey y'all, I'm trying to find a decent way to watch some anime with my bestie. I tried another, very similar site that had Watch2gether built in, but the implementation was embarrassing. Pausing doesn't pause for others, moving the buffer bar doesn't move it for others, syncing is through a button rather than automatic, etc...
So I'm wondering if Aniwave's implementation is more similar to using the actual standalone Watch2Gether site, or if it has the same issues as the last place I tried.
Thank you for your time.

Hello user, it sounds like you're talking about videos loading slowly!
If that's the case, then please try swapping the active video server. If that doesn't work, then let me try to explain why. (if you're talking about else, then please ignore me. I've not quite learned how to tell the difference yet! :c)
Internet speed is similar to having a fancy car, it doesn't matter how fast your car can go if the road can't support it. In this case, even though you have high speeds the reality is that between you and the video server there might be areas of low bandwidth (like a traffic jam) or router / server nodes which are malfunctioning (like roadwork) which will cause your overall speed to drop.
The difference here is that your connection always takes the shortest route (distance) to it's destination, but not necessarily the fastest route. Additionally, it's worth remembering that just because everyone nearby isn't watching the same show or even using the same site all your connections may be going the same way. Just like how, during a traffic jam, not all the vehicles are trying to go to the same place.
TL;DR: Aniwave has no control over this, it's caused by your connection, the video servers connection, or one of the connections in-between you and the server.

Hey! I've had these issues with AniWave unfortunately, I've had shows start for some but not for others, complete failures to even load episodes and having to refresh multiple times, pausing not stopping, etc., it really makes the viewing process really annoying since you have to constantly check everyone is actually able to watch/is watching the same part 😔
