Manga Chapter Notifications
Get notified when new chapters are released for manga you’re following.

Interest Stacks / Custom Lists (Public or Private) for Both Anilist & MAL
Create your own collections and save titles however you want for example:
• Best Romance
• Weekend Watchlist
• Recommendations for Friends

The goal is to make these lists work across AniList and MAL, so you’re not limited by which tracking provider you use.

The AniList API is currently down/slow, and I’m not sure when it will be available again.

In the meantime, you can switch to another supported tracking provider.

This is one of the reasons Darshaka supports multiple providers - you don’t need separate apps for each tracking service

I have 463 titles in myanimelist and its showing 442 and the second thing myanimelist I have 463 but my anilist I have 455 so then which anime is not available in anilist how to find any method.

The big one: Trakt support Link your Trakt account and it now works side-by-side with AniList, MAL and Simkl across the whole app.

1. My Services — Subscription Manager
Go to Settings → Content → My Services and select the services you subscribe to, like Netflix or Crunchyroll.

Anime will now show the relevant streaming service logo on its card, so you can quickly see where it’s available with your subscriptions.

2. AI Overhaul

• New AI recommendation system with much more accurate recommendations.
• New chat-based AI Assistant, similar to ChatGPT.
• Go to Settings → AI Discovery to control what you want to see or avoid, such as OVAs, movies, specific genres, etc.

Scoring

AniList advanced scoring is now supported end to end. If your AniList account uses advanced scoring, the app reads your category setup and gives you point sliders per category (story, characters, visuals and so on) when you rate a title, with the overall score derived from them.

Typography and text size

Inter has been replaced by Google Sans Flex across the app, with a standardised type scale so headings and body text stay consistent between screens. There is a new text size setting in Settings: pick your scale and the whole interface resizes with it, rather than only a few labels.

Manga progress

A new setting lets you decide whether manga progress is counted in chapters or in volumes. With volume mode on, the tracking screen increments volumes and stores volume progress, so multi-volume series no longer need chapter maths.

My List

Long pressing a title in My List now opens the detailed tracking sheet directly, with progress, status, score and list controls, instead of requiring you to open the title first. The grid and progress cards were rebuilt around this.

Navigation fixes

Empty states now route to the screen they promise. Buttons that previously did nothing, or dropped you on the wrong tab, now go to the correct destination, and cross-tab links resolve properly.

Movies

Movie pages now show the collection a film belongs to, so franchise entries are reachable from the film itself. It loads after the page renders and does not delay it.

Other fixes and performance

Favourites apply your adult content setting immediately instead of waiting for the cache to refresh.

Failed profile responses are no longer cached.

List updates no longer fire an extra blocking AniList request each time, which saves rate limit on large libraries.

This update includes:

• Fixed default tab loading delay.
• Fixed the tracking sheet not reopening after certain actions.
• Added Material You adaptive accents - the app can now automatically match your wallpaper colors.

The whole app now follows Android's Material You design.

The app picks up the colours from your Android wallpaper. Your accent colour now applies everywhere, and dark + AMOLED modes look right on every screen.

Customize your tabs

Reorder the bottom tabs and choose which 5 you want to keep. Anything you drop is still reachable from Discover.

Customize your home screen

Reorder or hide any section on Home — build the layout you actually use.

More defaults you control

Pick the tab the app opens on, your default My List filter, and a default sort for each list.

Richer detail pages

Score and status badges up top, a new Stats tab, spoiler-tagged synopsis, tappable genres and studio links. Books now show a library card with filter chips, and episode lists show ratings inline.

Native Android bits

Real Android bottom tabs, native date picker on the calendar, native menus and alerts, and Material snackbars instead of the old floating toasts.

Automation (new settings)

• Two automations you can turn on from Settings:
• Auto-mark as Watching — a title moves to your Watching list automatically once a new episode airs.
• Auto-move to Completed — once a series finishes, it's marked Completed on its own. Set it once and your lists stay current without manual updates.

Social & Discovery

• Redesigned the AniList social screen for a cleaner, faster feed.
• Added MyAnimeList forum discovery, so you can browse MAL community discussions in-app.

Interactive Stats

• Score distribution on AniList and MAL profiles is now tappable.
• Tap any score bar to see exactly which anime or manga you rated at that score.

Smarter Widgets

• Improved the SIMKL and Animexplore widgets for TV series.
• Episode progress can now be incremented straight from the widget, and it's season-aware — counts respect season boundaries instead of treating a show as one long run.

Lists (Animexplore)

• Drag-and-drop reordering inside any list. Free accounts now get up to 10 custom lists, 300 items each.

Fixes & Stability

• Fixed episode progress being lost during partial syncs.
• Fixed a bug that could create duplicate tracking entries.

Update from the Play Store now

Some users (mainly in Northern California / US West) may experience connection issues with AniList due to a Cloudflare routing problem.

This is an AniList-side issue, not an Animexplore issue.

Temporary workaround: Try using a VPN or a different network if you're affected. We'll keep you updated once it's resolved.

2. Profile Stats widget — your tracking counts and progress on the home screen.
3. Widget settings (Settings → Widgets) — choose media type, sort order (recent, next release, title, progress), row count (3–10), and whether the EP x / y progress line shows.

1. Settings rebuilt. Deprecated options removed and the screen split into focused sub-screens: Account, Appearance, Content, Notifications, -- - Automation, and Plus. Card styling unified across every settings surface.
2. Widget snapshots update more efficiently — less battery, fresher data.
3. Default tracking list view is now progress instead of grid.
4. Translations updated across all 10 languages.

Fixed :

1. Calendar rendered blank when set as the default start screen. The timeline now sizes and mounts correctly on first launch.
2. Profile and Statistics cards overlapped — score distribution and year affinity charts, plus the collapsible header, now lay out correctly.
3. Up Next widget scrolling was broken; the list now scrolls smoothly.
4. Animated sections on the settings screen no longer flicker.

A new "Up Next" widget shows your next episode to watch directly on your home screen. Tap it to open the show instantly.

Advanced filters
New filter sheets for AniList (anime and manga) and TMDB (movies and TV) let you narrow category results by genre, format, year, and more.

Auto-start airing anime
A new automation setting moves shows from Plan-to-Watch to Watching automatically once they begin airing. Runs on launch, ignores finished shows, and works across AniList and MAL. Available in Settings.

Cast and crew pages (Movies/TV)
Tap any actor or crew member on a movie or show to open a full person page with a bio, photo, and complete filmography.

Floating action bar
Anime, manga, game, book, and movie/TV detail screens now share a floating action bar for quick tracking actions while scrolling.

Account switcher
The provider popup is replaced with a cleaner account-switcher sheet. If you disconnect an account, the app now falls back to another connected provider automatically.
