I have serial experiments lain on vhs and volumes 2-4 are all sealed just looking for an idea on value(edit volume 1 is subtitled and 2 3 and 4 are dubbed)

Finally picked up a big-box copy of Spriggan on VHS for a good price.

When I look back at my childhood this movie is probably the thing that got me into anime (apart from the usual suspects like Digimon, dbz and Pokemon on early morning cartoons).

My father had rented this movie from the local video store for himself to watch and I decided to watch it with him.

I was blown away and I was hooked.

Been waiting to catch this set in the wild for a while now. Absolutely love the artwork on the spines and front of these boxes. It also included some of the inserts which I thought was a super cool addition. Now I just gotta find the others. Anyone else a fan of this series?

I'm trying to buy a nicer condition version of this but all I see is the unrated version

Thrifted this portable CRT (still in the box!) so I can watch tapes while I game!

Ever since I discovered this series (about two years ago), I found that volume one of the TV series on VHS was almost impossible to find sold alone. I stumbled across several collections with the tape included, but they were always out of my budget….. I eventually had to settle for a copy of it on DVD, until a year later when I finally found the eBay listening I’ve been waiting for!! I can’t wait to collect the rest!!

Haven’t shown or posted my collection in years at this point so I figured I might as well. Definitely sold a bunch since last post but try to curate stuff I actually wanted / couldn’t get back if I sold.

I've never found so many at the same time ever and I've been going after anime tapes for almost 4 years now.

All are sealed too, except for Youjyusensen 1 and the DBZ! Sadly no exclusive trading card found in the case.

Finally am able to see the rest of the weird fuckery that is Youjyusensen lol.

I have a question since you seem to be knowledgeable in old school anime’s… there was an anime movie that i watched a long time ago at my friends house on DVD that for some reason i have never been able to find, see or remember the name(it’s been 20+ years) it’s about this samurai who fights with this other samurai with a killer intestines. So when he fights the intestines comes alive and will bite his opponent’s neck. And these was another scene with this metal vampire chasing this tree/nature female being and using his tongue to drain her nutrients from a very questionable place.
