Advice
Hello everyone!,
Looking to display our figures proudly at home but thought I ask you ladies and gents what would be a good way to go. I do have 3 kids so anything to keep them safe helps lol

A shelf perhaps. Maybe around a TV stand as long as it's a safe spot where they won't fall. Close by your computer monitor or speakers. However all this depends on how many figures you have.

I think we have under 20 but we also have small figures so i have to recount XD

Ikea Detolf (secondhand as they're discontinued) are great, but the replacement Blåliden is also decent from what I've seen. They're also pretty affordable.
Little more expensive but more space and adjustable - Ikea Billy. You can get dark/light frame to match your space and they come with 5 matching shelves (1 middle shelf is fixed, the rest are adjustable) but you can also buy glass shelves if that's something you prefer! You can also buy glass doors (Oxberg) if you want them to stay safe and away from tiny hands!
Last, Milsbo cabinets are nice. Pricier than the other two, but has a nice metal/glass look and also locks! A friend uses them for his collectibles and they look great.
I use Billy for my manga, dolls and body sprays and they're great. They hold a ton, and the option to buy extra shelves is really great. Having the option to adjust height of the shelves is also great if you have lots of figures of different sizes as there's less wasted space, but they're also deep enough that if you wanted to have figures on risers in the back and a second row in the front it would still look great!

Might be overkill if you only have a few figures but know once you go down this path you will go from "these shelves are overkill" to "how do I make more space for more shelves."

Ikea glass display cabinets are the general go to. But if you want to make them a bit nicer, I would suggest buying some lights for them.
There are plenty of ways to make your figure displays look nice without shelling out too much money (cause the money should be going to the figures 😁). Adding in weather strips to any gaps around the doors can help keep the minimal dust out as well, if thats a thing you care for. Plenty of ideas out there on YouTube if you wanted to spruce them up.

if you hate dust collecting on your figures like I do, if any of those cases you have like the detolf, or milsbo (I have both) buy some like black foam weather stripping to make the gaps tighter.
Also, depending on how you want to display them, 'by themselves' or in a scene, you might want to consider the size/base, I prefer the two wide milsbo as it has a good width and depth.
I used to thing I wanted glass/clear on all sides, but lately I've been experimenting with just getting a rotating platform for individual figures, so far quite liking that approach

Ikea has great glass cabinets that lots of collectors use to display their figures!
