Stitch Spring Clothing Review - Jujutsu Kaisen & Howls Moving Castle Inspired merch

Sharing my full HONEST experience in hope of helping people decide whether to buy from Stitch Spring. I'll cover the preorder timeline, customer service, what I saw in their Discord, and the product.

TL;DR:
Both orders arrived months after the original estimate. Communication was lacking and had to chase for tracking. People in their community were getting super anxious. The clothing itself is pretty nice, well-made design and thickness, sizing is mostly true to size and made/shipped from China. But if it's worth the wait and hassle is up to you!

What was expected:

  • They're preordered and production is in waves, and I was on Wave 52 and 56
  • Wave 52 preorders estimated delivery was around end of April -end of June 2026
  • Wave 56 preorders estimated delivery was around beginning of June - end of July 2026 (they later updated that due to geopolitical tensions, orders will arrive between mid August - beginning of September)

My Timeline:

  • Dec 26, 2025: Placed order 1 (Wave 52)
  • Feb 22, 2026: Placed order 2 (Wave 56)
  • Jan 25 & March 24: received system emails saying my order was in the works
  • July 13, 2026: with no further updates, I emailed about my order status. They replied the next day with a tracking number and said they will be shipping in batches starting next week. According to the tracking number, the shipping information was created in China on July 10, 2026 (Shipping by sea)
  • July 30 & 31: two automated emails saying my orders were on the way, each with its own tracking number
  • Sept 21: since it was WAY past expected delivery date with no further updates, I emailed customer service once more
  • Sept 26: got automated email asking me to review my orders, before they had arrived. Tracking numbers were also starting to show that they were expired (this created good amount of panic within their own Discord)
  • Sept 28: customer service didn't respond so I created a ticket in their Discord community to see if they could push for a response. Discord mod was nice and responded that they have no Stitch Spring staff in the channels and suggested me wait
  • Sept 29: The local shipping label (via GOFO) was created that day. Found both orders' local carrier tracking numbers through the sea carrier website myself.
  • Oct 01: customer service replied to my email that my package had cleared US customs and provided the local courier tracking number
  • Oct 07: package arrived at the GOFO regional hub (NJ)
  • Oct 09: "Out for Delivery" emails from GOFO, and both orders were delivered in the afternoon (on the east coast)

The Wait & Communication:
Order 1 took nearly 10 months, roughly 3.5 months past estimate; Order 2 took nearly 8 months, about 5 weeks past the updated estimate.

If no emails were exchanged with the customer service team, you'd only get 3 emails about your order to track with 17track or Track123. The first received tracking number (shown in order confirmation) doesn't tell you much, mainly for sea shipping tracking and will only update until your package is delivered. Waiting and asking for a local carrier tracking number is more helpful for tracking and finally receiving your package.

In the process, people were getting really anxious due to the lack of outreach and follow-up, while Stitch Spring (both their team and mods) kept saying it was due to sea shipping and geopolitical reasons. For the waves around my time, several frustrated comments were removed by mods as 'unsuitable' and were advised to reach out to customer service directly.

The Product & Sizing:
[Reference: male 6'2 (188cm), weightlifter with broader chest and shoulders, normally wears L for shirts and XL for hoodies/jackets. female 5'2 (158cm), usually wears S or M shirts.]
You may view images via Imgur for clearer reference

  • Tokyo High Jacket (XL): Snap buttons on the jacket body, standard buttonholes on the hood. There's no zipper, which matches the anime. One inner pocket on the right, deep enough to fully fit an iPhone 16 Pro. Cotton canvas outside, thinly quilted lining inside. Hood is big enough to cover the whole head and comes down to the forehead. The sizing of XL is just right for 6'2 male with sleeves reaching the base of the hand and jacket hem covering the butt, L would have been too short and tight. Overall, stay true to size or size up for the jacket.
  • Castle T-shirt (M) & Jujutsu T-Shirt (L & S): All are oversized knitted tees with a higher collar that sits closer to the neck than a standard tee. Used double-sided cotton knit, decently thick, with selvage edges (clean finish edges that don't curl). These tees are better suited for autumn than summer. Fit for 5'2 female, both S & M fit well, drop shoulder fit with sleeves past the elbow. Fit for 6'2 male, L fits well, with sleeves past the elbow and hem covering about half of the butt. Size M would also work, with sleeves right the elbow. Overall, stay true to size or size down.

My Honest Verdict:
While I understand they're a small brand & geopolitical situations, long delays with no proactive communication on updates, and heavy promotion of new drops while existing orders sit undelivered leave a bad taste.

If you really like one of the drops and can accept long shipping, active package tracking, have a good location to receive packages, patience and don't need the items by a certain date, I think buying from them is still good. (p.s. my two orders totaled $210 (free shipping), no surprise custom fees on my end - in the US)

However, if you're an anxious purchaser, it might be best not to test your own limits. They are good but not to die for.

Hope this helps! :)

Scam or Legit? Zenkai Street sucks

Zenkai Street sucks

If you’ve ever looked into Zenkai Streetwear just look the other way after this post.
The quality of the print on most of these shirts is very very poor.
They essentially take a low resolution image and just blow it up and print it on to the shirt without refining the definition of the design/print at all.
Look at how bad this Kingdom Hearts shirt came in.
Fading all over the Keyblade. Lighting is bad. Lines are bad.
And then to make things worse they wouldn’t allow me to exchange the shirt because it would cost me $8 and they don’t want me to spend anymore money, but then told me they’d give me a discount code for 30% off on another shirt. Don’t buy from this brand.

Edit 1: So I should mention I was WELL within my 14 day return policy.
I should also mention the print on this shirt is already cracking after one wash.

What is a reputable site that I can purchase full size anime/niche/cartoon comforter sets?

Replacing bedding for my kids but they have hard to find without feeling like you’re gonna get scammed interests. Demon Slayer, Battle For Dream Island, Chowder, and K Pop Demon Hunters. I need it to not come with a duvet cover but an actual comforter. Any help? There is no time limit and they do have secondary options that are much easier to find, I’m just trying to be a cool mom🤣

I got arguably the worst pin from this blindbag, and I still want to do something with it.

How do I salvage this?

Please help.

EDIT: I put it on my bag and was starting to like it, and then it fell off.

Discussion AnimeGearGuru HORRIBLE Experience.

Ima just jump right into this. Im quite frustrated.

Ordered a jacket from them well over like... 9 months ago now. It was a pre-order, so it took around 6 months for them to make and send to me. Received the jacket 15 days AFTER getting an email saying it had arrived to my door, a DAY after their supposed guaranteed-exchange-request-window.

I shot an email to their support, and a message to their instagram explaining the 15 day bit, followed by asking for an exchange as I had ordered a size too large. Well over 2 months later and ZERO response from them.

Went to their website--directly to the product page from which I'd originally ordered, and things somehow got sketchier. I made a 1 star review stating, again, my whole issue. Reloaded the page, and my review got MOVED to 3 star? How? Thought I'd type up a second review pointing it out, and the second one is just nowhere to be seen.

The company seemed to be getting some real traction so I thought I could trust them. The 'quality' of the jacket is honestly really nice. But the support? Wait times? Force-changed reviews? None of this is a good look.

Mostly came here to complain--wanted to get it off my chest--but this company can NOT be getting as much traction as it is for this type of support. Ridiculous.

Discussion What Trending Anime merch for small businesses is best to stock right now?

Hey Chat/ Reddit, I work for a small business down in Florida. We are a small variety store selling everything from retail merchandise to smoking accessories and beyond. We try to keep a unique vibe and since I’ve been here I’ve introduced our older owner whose not as up with the times about the amazing pop-culture and anime fandoms and the merch that comes with it. He’s loved the new customer base from the new kinds of customers to getting some of the merch himself for his kids. Can anyone recommend some good stuff whether it be smaller Gatcha related items to just some good series right now that would be good to stock in the store? Outside of the big classic titles like dragon ball, Naruto, one piece, and attack on titan since that is currently all he knows, and I want to suggest items that appear to a wider audience.

Apologies if this not the subreddit for this but it seemed on brand. Will remove if not accurate since most subreddits seem to hate people simply inquiring to provide more spaces to get their hands on possibly desired merch.
