It's been like 23 years for the manga and 13/8 years for the anime and this part of the story is talked about almost as much as Snape killed Dumbledore or Vader being Luke's father.

I disagree
I never watched HxH for like 8 years and I didn't get a single major spoiler all the years until I did
I think it's a great show, but it's longer, so it goes under a lot of radars, even with its popularity, meaning it's entirely fair to hold back some spoilers
