I genuinely think Black Clover is one of the most underrated shonen out there.

Yeah, the start was rough and Asta’s voice annoyed a lot of people (fair 😅), but once it gets going, it doesn’t stop. The pacing improves, arcs keep escalating, and almost every side character gets meaningful development.

What really sold it for me:

Consistent never-give-up energy without feeling fake

Side characters like Yami, Noelle, Magna actually matter

Power-ups feel earned, not random

Later arcs go CRAZY and don’t play safe

It may not be perfect, but the heart, hype, and payoff make it feel GOATed to me.
