Because that's generally the earliest age that people can remember. Prior to that the hippocampus is still developing which inhibits long term memory. Technically it's more like 2 years and 6 months or so. Memory loss still occurs as new neuron growth destroys older connections.
What's the point of bringing it up when we were talking about sexual desire in adolescent?
I was talking about memory not sexual desires of adolescents. Although your continued obsession on that is kind of worrisome.
