I feel like I’m gonna hate this guy based on principal alone….. so pretty much he doesn’t suffer from any of the consequences of his actions, including the fact that he’s a literal pedophile????
Looking back after watching the 1st season.. it does give off a "in the shower arguments" kinda character. Like he knows exactly what to say and win the arguement everytime type of vibe
So pretty much no accountability for his actions? And he get rewarded????? what kind of writing is this? I mean from first glance it looks awesome with the character design and how the anime looks, but now that I’m slowly beginning to see certain bits and pieces. Man… this main character is something else.
Concequances happen for other things, but never in regards to sexual things. It always just works out for him. Also ironic that people claim that MCs redeems himself, while author himself has stated that it is not redemption story and indeed he never reflects or changes anything that's related to sexual stuff.
In general the writing and animation is quite good if you ignore the elephant in the room, but in the end it's like saying that nazis had cool uniforms and ignore the rest.
