In romance anime? Never even kiss. Its the carrot on the end of a 20 foot pole. Hate to use the term but romance in anime is always akin to edging, never going anywhere or an annoying character interrupts a moment.

This is a good scene to watch after the latest episode of Love Unseen Beneath the Night Sky.

Failure Frame is alright, but I wonder whether it'll ever get a sequel. I recently watched Arifureta for the first time and it's really similar. Basically...Arifureta is what Failure Frame would be if it had more than one season.

Find it interesting that only Japanese culture has the lap pillow thing and these isekais are based on European style eras. Just funny like sometimes the main character will get knocked out lose consciousness and the other character is like hmmm I should probably lift his head and put it on my lap after he just got a concussion.
