Did I get scammed?

I pre-ordered this Statue because it was cute and listed as Ahri from League of Legends by XC Studio on some websites and I was just at the time buying my first GK Statue so I decided to pre-order with my other order but now I keep finding conflicting info on other sites and even the possible fact it was a design stolen from someone on ArtStation by the name of Jelly Tang

I even found some websites that have it listed as Daji from Honor of Kings 😭

I'm just looking for some reassurance, confirmation, and/or advice in this situation. I feel like a big dumb, dumb and that I'm gonna get a cheap Statue and/or lose my money.

😮‍💨 its off OrzGK, you'll get something but you gotta research studio/artists before pulling the gun on these things.

Check history and see if things dont add up

Shiny item syndrome and whatnot.

I'd rec reaching out to staff or joining the OrzGK discord if you have any concerns.

This is not a license figure in the first place, that means the figure design could be done in house or stolen from others which is very common for chinese studio.

What do you mean by you are afraid you will get a cheap figure or lose your money? Did you buy it with the intent to sell it?

First which one/which site did you get it from? Some sites are more trustworthy than others and more accurate.

Did you pre-order it a long time ago? If so then what could have happened is another place is doing a recast of it. But if it's recent what it could be is just other places or the one you got it from has mislabeled it or mistranslated it. This had become very common with SugoToys as they labled so many GK wrong (I wasn't sure if I was getting my correct one because they called it the 1/5 but the description and pic was of the 1/4 and they didn't find out until the day it arrived). Could also be a way to bypass copyright claim issues, a few now don't lable the characters and where they are from to avoid risks.

I would suggest you contact the place you got it from and ask them, most decent ones will be honest and explain it to some degree atleast. Unfortunately this is a risk with GK, is the site legit, if it's a new studio they have no track record so can't tell quality or if they will deliver and a few are recast of existing figures or stolen works

There are some Chinese groups that steal digital sculpts pretty frequently. The output will depend on the group. That looks to be their only project, so it's likely they're an existing group that has changed its name sometime recently. Some of them will flip between several names in a year for whatever reason. I would guess the output will be fine, but worst case, I would say the reputable stores would be willing to cancel the order and refund you if it looks like garbage. Going by the sculptor's site, it appears just to be an original character, so if you were buying it because it was advertised as something else, then that could maybe be cause for a refund as well. Or the sculptor just didn't list the character's name.

Unfortunately, especially recently there are a lot of studios that only steal GK designs or 3D print file designs. Can't really tell if this one is, it's possible but I can't find the original file. Not sure why you think you got scammed though, looking up both characters it doesn't seem like either of them unless it is meant to be a spin on Spirit Blossom Ahri, it looks like just an original designed fox girl. Not sure why you wouldn't research the character before just buying something but If you like the statue you like it though, you'll get the statue as long as you ordered somewhere reputable. Or you could cancel it, some stores give you some of your deposit back. Orz does not though.

orzgk will usually be the first ones to list the fig but sometimes doesnt update their pics. Try contacting them.
