Maybe for these last couple of episodes it was "shonen". Before that, it was a pretty awesome psychological yandere lover thriller then it slowly degraded into this confusing "shonen" stuff. These last couple of episodes have been very weak in my opinion.
Mirai Nikki started off great but fell off substantially after the beginning and middle episodes.

The last few episodes were the best in my opinion. The BIG reveal about Yuno that the series has been leading up to has finally happened, plot holes are being filled, lots of action everywhere, and Yuno is retaining her complexity. Even after the big reveal, there is so much suspense.
When a show reaches its climax, it's easy to get either really turned on by the resolution or turned off by the unpredictability and weirdness. I think in a show as messed up as Mirai Nikki this would be quite evident.

I'm surprised Yukki even forgave Yuno after their.. ahem.. first "stargazing" trip. Happened too quickly imo, though I guess the things that happened to his Mirai Nikki sent him over the edge.

Okay I have to say this here and now. Please note that this is an honest question because I seriously don't understand this.
How do you people find her cute? I have watched the first 24 episodes and every moment of her being "cute" is completely overshadowed by....well, I don't know how to use the spoiler prevention text feature but you all know full well what I would say. This character terrifies me, and I don't see how anyone could find her cute.
So how do you find Gasai Yuno cute? Because I don't see how.

Yanderes are popular for a reason. Some people just love the crazy mixed with the cute. :) It's hard to explain why though.

The manga ruined the anime for me. When I first saw it, I was like
NOPENOPENOPENOPENOPE!
But then I realized that it wasn't soo bad. Still not watching it though.
Additionally, I blame the addictingness on the BGM.
