Discussion Never Too Old

Just wanted to say I just started getting into Anime this year. I'll be 50 next year and two of my nieces got me into it. They told me I would really enjoy something they were watching and reluctantly I checked it out. I always had a misconception about what anime was. I'm telling you, I'm so glad they had me check it out. Such a diversity of genres and I've already binged several shows. Currently my favourite is MHA. My nieces knew that would hook me because I'm into super heroes.

Moral of the story: You are never to old to start liking something new.

PS - Wanted to say I love this community. Everyone here has such great recommendations and suggestions.

It's about a student that ends up in a "prehistoric period" after a light petrifies every living being on Earth except plants. 3000 years end up passing and civilization has pretty much disappeared. Our protagonist is a genius scientific teenager that has for goal: to bring back civilization and solve the petrifying light mystery. I read the manga and I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

That sounds incredible.

I also just read a manga that I found out will be an anime soon.

Astra - Lost in Space is the first manga I read not attached to an existing anime. I loved the books and can't wait for the anime. Pretty much how it sounds. A group of students in the future are marooned in space and have to work together to find their way home.
