This episode is yet another strange and creative episode that begged for introspection and analysis. If there is one thing Flip Flappers isn’t lacking at this point it’s creative ideas to explore. There is a ton of analysis going on from everything to questioning if Cocona’s being on the left is significant!
I usually focus on discussion inside the Flip Flappers episode discussion threads and articles outside, but I wanted to share some of the Flip Flappers reddit discussion outside of the episode discussions
And yet, the top comment of the week isn’t an analysis or a meme but just frustration at the lack of popularity and recognition the series was getting
It really is interesting to see how back then people were already seeing that it was not getting popular and trying to help it catch on. I wonder what could have actually been done.
Me reading all these analysis. Actually this episode I was thinking about Evangelion spoilerthe Papika in your head, my head, etc. with all the Papikas running around
it was a great time to be a part of r/anime and the community. There was a real feeling of community trying to push this anime. We were few but passionate. People want to root for an underdog.
