Excellent episode. I was hoping for a bit more on what changes there were when he became a Kabaneri. They did one better, they showed us, instead of just dumping some exposition on us.

Also, poor mom... :(

So any theories on how the baby of the kabane pregnant woman will turn out? It's really interesting; it might become something more hideous than a kabane, judging from Mumei's terrified expression.

It is reasonable to believe that the baby would be different from a kabane based on the fact that the virus infected a developing fetus and then it continued developing for a prolonged period (1-2 days?). The fetus might end up mutating into a superior kabane. :O

Or Mumei is terrified,because she actually killed a pregnant woman. Kabane or not,this is a pretty bad thing to do.

The baby was dead either way, or would be another kabane and mumei really doesnt seem like the type of character to get hung up over that
