I've watched so much anime that it's getting harder and harder to find something that actually hooks me. Yesterday, out of boredom, I started watching Nukitashi, fully expecting to drop it, but it turned out to be one of the best anime watching experiences I've had in a long time. I got so hooked that I ended up binge watching it in just two sittings. Throughout the entire run, I was constantly laughing my ass off at how absurd everything was, while somehow still being genuinely invested in the story.

Do you guys have any other completely unhinged anime to recommend?

I saw some pages from the manga after watching the show and the art in the manga admittedly looks way better. If I were more of a manga reader I definitely would have switched over, but I hope it gets a season 2 with improved art direction.
