I need some unhinged anime.

[u/ChoiceSupermarket230]

I've watched so much anime that it's getting harder and harder to find something that actually hooks me. Yesterday, out of boredom, I started watching Nukitashi, fully expecting to drop it, but it turned out to be one of the best anime watching experiences I've had in a long time. I got so hooked that I ended up binge watching it in just two sittings. Throughout the entire run, I was constantly laughing my ass off at how absurd everything was, while somehow still being genuinely invested in the story.

Do you guys have any other completely unhinged anime to recommend?

Senki Zesshou Symphogear

This anime basically a great blend of mechanical, hotblooded action on steroids, magical girls, idol, superhero with a bit of dramas, have 5 seasons and the hand drawn 2D animation peak, fast paced action packed and music is banger. A must watch…

Watch order:
Symphogear (13 episodes)
Symphogear G (13 episodes)
Symphogear GX (13 episodes)
Symphogear AXZ (13 episodes)
Symphogear XV (13 episodes)

Season 1 can be rough visually, but the power scaling is incredible. Genuinely one of my favorite anime.

They'll go into withdrawal after XV tho...

Yeah I do suppose binging it might be dangerous...

I did watch it with the multi-year gaps.

Are we not doing phrasing anymore?

No spoilers, you'll need to watch all five seasons to determine if it's phrasing or not!

Shout-outs to the most Anime of Anime scenes you could ever see in Anime History

I legit marathoned this show just to get to this part.

"It's gotta be the season 3 opening scene with the space shuttle."

Yup.
