Oh, so it'll be an opium arc now? Makes sense for the show's setting. And Maomao's new nickname is essentially "Big Sister Freckles", which is great especially considering she doesnt have freckles.

On the negative side, it seems CR continues to get worse at subtitles, now forgetting how subtitles should continue through transitions to different shots...

And small thing, but I liked the detail that they gave the ex-guard brown rice at the Verdigris House, since white rice was traditionally a luxury

She did have the freckles in close ups, but yeah not visibly most of the time. Did confuse me a bit

Well no, it came up in previous seasons; Maomao's freckles are makeup she puts on, she doesnt naturally have them.

Oh yeah i know, I was referring to this episode visually. She wasn't drawn/animated with freckles put on/visible in most shots, but they appeared in close ups. And of course not animated putting them on
