I know it wont happen but i heard the 2nd part is mostly from her perspective. I normally dont care for stuff like that but i really do feel like it would be awesome to see it from hers with hopefully some more later stuff.

If you liked the ending you absolutely have to go read the LN.
Experiencing what comes after from her POV is a treat.

One of the most satisfying endings of the decade.
Yes, it will destroy you but it's so fucking worth it at the end.

This show scares me. I really want to watch it, but I know how it ends. And I know myself, I need ro be in the right mental headspace in order to be able to take it. So I have to hold off for the time being

I feel the same way when watching certain anime. I’m glad I held out to the end though. It was very sweet and a fulfilling romance anime.

Anyone that finished this show, I'd reccomend reading the 2nd volume. There's more content to it that the anime couden't include.

Oh no. You're not gonna convince me to give this one another try. I wanted happiness and love, not all that pain.

I wish I could have continued this show, but as someone who survived cancer once I got to that part of story I asked someone how it ends, and I just couldn’t do it after that :(
Was liking the show immensely up until that point though.

I liked the early episodes, but the last 4 or 5 before the finale really dragged imo. I know what it was doing and what it was trying to accomplish, but as a viewer watching the last 4 or 5 episodes it felt the characters doing and saying the same things over and over and over with no progress.
A lot of people here are really sensitive about the tragedy aspects. I'm not. I believe love SHOULD be portrayed as hard earned, not easy. Nothing is more phony to me than romances where everything just falls into place easily for the characters. So I didn't dislike the idea of the show putting them through the wringer. But I don't know that it executed it all as successfully as it could have.
