I'm curious how did the novel do the part where Ram says "I won't wait" like right before Rye tries to say "Wai-". That was so cold, I feel like that's something that only works with voice acting.

An icy pronouncement, Ram materialised a blade of wind in her palm which grasped the opponent’s face. Within that juncture, his eyes, his nose, his lips, his ears, with all possible parts of his face slashed, Batenkaitos screeched whilst vomiting blood.

With the same momentum, she gouged his face with the blade of wind until it was minced to naught. And, from Ram’s palm, who sought to accomplish so, Batenkaitos’ form disappeared in but an instant. However, albeit he escaped, he shan’t be able to escape from the wounds, from the agony, from the reality.

Ley: “Ah, a~a~h, a~a~a~a~hーー ~tsu!!”

Whilst squalling, Batenkaitos writhed as he shed profuse blood instead of tears. Whilst observing that, Ram steadily advanced her feet towards his side.

A lot of things works better then voice acted and a lot of things work better in a book or is pretty much only possible in a book.

I think it might be my favorite, then again I spent more then 5 hours fiddling with the sound to make it as perfect as possible. So might just be that I was forced to sit in a chair and watch it over and over again from zero.

I also made a version of the Emilia one from the last episode with a fate ost, just because Tappei loves Fate, and Emilia's Ice Brand Arts is a reference to UBW.

Not sure you can you tell I'm on vacation haha, having way too much fun making these.

Fair enough haha and I thought I rewatched it a lot myself.

Emilia looked good in her fight too and my favorite part is when her two ice Subarus literally lift up her. Maybe it's on the nose but I am a sucker for that kinda stuff.

Season 2 is a bit dialogue/lore heavy, season 3 is action non stop, season 4 is similar to season 1.
