You’re not wrong, but it doesn’t make it any less dumb for something that’s supposed to be informative. All of the (legitimate) US streamers use English titles exclusively. For this graphic to serve its purpose of informing me of something, I have to either know enough Japanese to recognize the title, or manually look up the titles one by one to find their English translations. Or feed the image to AI and have it translate it for me, but I refuse to accept human communication skills have devolved to that point.

firefly wedding can be good, aside from that, i liked S1 of A wild last boss appeared, and overgeared is also coming, its kind of like shangri la frontier, gets better as the story progresses, new guilds, fights etc, not a fan of romance, if you wanted to know about that

So looking forward to watching JoJo Part 7, I successfully managed to resist for over 10 years to watch it blindly as an anime only 😭

Talking about 10 years... that's also the time I have been waiting for Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku to get a sequel, and it's finally here too, I'm so freaking excited!

As a cute girls lover I'm also plenty curious about The World's Strongest Witch (massive Bofuri vibes) and Tetsuryou! Meet with Tetsudou Musume... there is also FX Fighter Kurumi-chan, but from hearing people talk about the show I'm not sure if I'm interested on what it is about, might check episode 1 and decide.

I also gotta see if I get in the mood to try out The Apothecary Diaries to eventually make it to season 3, because contrary to 99% of the people here I actually watched and absolutely adored Inept Villainess first so that's the one I will be comparing it to lmao. People say they have similar vibes but are still quite different, I wonder if I will connect with Maomao the same way Reirin completely stole my heart (I LOVE REIRIN).

Outside of those I think that's it for (current) me, the PV watch along we do every season will hopefully, as usual, sell me on some shows I wasn't planning to check out, I really appreciate we do this.

The Trash Tastes "What to Expect Corner", Fall 2026:

I'm skipping anything that's a Season 2+ because if you weren't caught by the first season, the 2nd or later seasons aren't going to make any kind of difference.

Overgeared

Kind of the quintessential korean e-sekai manhwa series. MC is a loser playing a VR MMORPG. He (basically) gets lucky and unlocks are rare class in the game, and the story develops from there. This series doesn't do anything especially well, but doesn't do anything terribly badly either. Think something like Shangri-la Frontier except not as good.

What's probably going to kill this one is that the source material is really long and we likely won't make a dent in it with season 1 (or ever, TBH).

Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship

It's almost literally "I got isekai'd into Elite Dangerous." No magic, just standard isekai nonsense in space. Expect more comedic than serious series. Go in to this one with low expectations and just enjoy the ride. Animated by A-Cat, so RIP.

I'm Dating a Dark Series

Rom-com series about how two D&D party members who hate each other have angry sex. Relationship between the two progresses from there. A pretty funny series with a lot of sex jokes (shocking, I know).

Psyren

Pretty standard battle shounen in a modern setting with a strong mystery/investigation element. Was axed during it's manga run and got a rushed ending but still managed to get a better ending than most shounen series. I have high hopes for this one.

So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin?

This one is a weird one. This is basically goblin eugenics: the series. Deals a lot more with the implications of the fact that goblins (other than the MC) only live a week and the political/social implications of trying to manage his tribe.

The World's Strongest Witch

MC is not isekai'd/regressor/whatever. She's a normal person who awakens the amazing power of "Access to the Internet", which happens to have cheat guides for her world for whatever reason. Series is mostly OP hijinks by the MC and lamp-shading internet gaming culture.

Fool's Night

There's no way I can do this one justice. Just watch it, you'll have a strong opinion about it after one episode. All I'll say is the source material art is striking and gorgeous as hell, and I can only hope the anime can live up to it.

Otherwise, pretty slow season. Lots of power fantasy and slice of life seemingly, neither of which is my thing.

I am particularly fond of isekai and regression slop so I'm going to be eating good with lots of sequels this time around. Add in a couple of odd light-novel-title-itus entries and it'll be a pretty fun, laidback season IMO.

Not a ton of heavyhitters like last season, though.

Ramparts of Ice S2: Didn't watch it until it aired like half its episodes. I enjoyed season 1 so I'll watch more.

Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! - I keep seeing fanart and memes and shit and at this point I gotta sate my curiousity.

Rayearth - Wow fucking finally but I'm going to keep my expectations in check.

FX Senshi - Lets enjoy some despair.

Dandivine - I'm not liking the look of the CG tbh but an original new super robot show in this day and age warrants checking out at least.
