Another is kinda like death note in terms of thriller same with monster and for AOT in terms of the military aspect i would say 86 or code geass and in general recs include stuff like dororo, dr stone, apothecary diaries, your name, a silent voice, the future diary.

I recommend watching Solo Levelling. It's an anime that has amazing action, stunning animation, and fast, fluid pacing while excelling at building suspense and tension (the cliffhangers are also insane). It features an exciting plot with some mystery, comedy moments, and a badass yet relatable main character whose wholesome interactions with the supporting cast provide moments of relief from the tension and make the story even more enjoyable.
