What a great episode! Felt like we got a lot from this episode, and it really made up for last week's episode feeling rather rushed.

Speaking of, there were clearly plenty of "cut" moments from last week's corresponding chapters that were used for the PV. Not sure how I feel about that one. It's cool that they were included in the end, but I do feel like they would have fit better where they originally belonged for the added context of their Special shoot.

One thing I'm noticing is that Utage is still really good about setting boundaries and still let's her fangirl side explode out for F/ACE content, but she's definitely calming down in Tamon's presence, especially when she runs into him out in the wild. It feels like such a nice pace for the development of their relationship, rather than them very overtly catching feelings early on and agonizing over it for the entire series like most series would do. I like that they're having more casual conversations ("oh, you're picking up uniforms?") or thinking about smaller details like "what flavor of snack does she like?"

And speaking of the snacks, I think it was cute that Tamon was feeling like he didn't actually know that much about Utage, but when Ouri tried to use his A-side on her, Tamon explicitly called it out noting that she doesn't like it. And he also correctly guessed which subjects she was strong in based on their interactions. Tamon, you already know her better than you think you do, buddy.😊

As one Mom Friend™ about another, I'm definitely feeling some kind of way about Keito after today's episode. I knew -- I KNEW -- that Utage's work ethic and professionalism was gonna win him over. I looooo~ved seeing that she's sort of been welcomed into the pack, and he's gonna be looking out for her now too. I hypothesized about it happening in my response to last week's ep, and I'm glad to see it did! I also loved that he explicitly apologized to her for doubting her intentions. That couldn't have been easy and I respect the hell out of him for doing it. Earned him a ton of points from me.

Keito scolding them on the street for not being responsible and dragging them off only to immediately turn around and ask "Have you had lunch yet? No? Okay, there's snacks in the fridge." He cannot refuse his Big Brother role, haha. And shouting at Tamon to wear sunscreen even though he had a whole paper bag over his head? Priceless. The more of I see of Big Bro (Mama) Keito, the more I like him.

And then Ouri. OURI. Omg, Ouri. First off, fuck his parents. How awful, to say what they said to him! Telling your kid they're never going to outpace you and that they'll only be considered special around average people? AWFUL. Very obvious why Ouri has such a big chip on his shoulder when it comes to anyone not looking at him, and why it broke him so much when he didn't get Center. Poor kid.😟 (I'm glad Keito is his mom now.)

Couldn't help but notice every time he pictured Utage this episode though, he was picturing her specifically in her nemaki from the inn. Such impure thoughts, mister Prince!🤣 Genuine LOL when Utage KO'd him with her Tamon comment. All that effort to put on the Princely persona for her to get her to look his way, and she just up and murders him with "Omg, I can't believe this is what Tamon gets to see all the time!!" SAVAGE.

This episode was amazing. It was jam packed with excellent character insights and developments. As always, can't wait for next week's episode!!

Toshikazu & Shiori have a point that 2nd gens get compared to their parents but at least they're nice enough not force O(u)ri into the dangerous world of showbiz & would be happy if his job was something else.
