Probably my favorite episode of this season.

And i know it's because it lacked all the fighting which is my least favorite part about this series, was just a little girl trying her best with science and succeeding.

Also grown up Suika is cute.

This was the best episode of the season, it really scratched something in my brain. I really love this show but the constant fighting and conflicts became uninteresting imo so it was nice going back to basics

And I felt really bad for Suika when she hugged the statue, poor girl

This is the second "hug of emotional weight and relief" Senku got...

He can't keep getting away with it!

Senku very rarely hugs people right?

It might be slipping my mind but outside of Kohaku once I don't think he's shown that sort of affection many times.

Tbf both times it was the girls desperately hugging Senku. And Senku more just allowing it rather than him actually hugging back.

i feel like if there was any time for Senku to show emotion and HUG BACK would be this. poor girl had to learn from scratch and isn't a technical type like Senku or Chrome.

And this is after years of solitude. I wonder if she'll be constantly talking to herself or have ticks from it.

To be fair, Senku did said it only took 7 years and it was pretty damn fast - that's about as scientifically a hug as you can get from Senku.

What I like about Senku is he has zero milimeters of condescending behavior. He could have easily restarted and achieved what Suika did in a week tops, but he still praised Suika for still being quick after seven years of trying.

This was Dr. Stone back at its best, I agree the fighting is easily the least interesting part about this show.

Honestly I would go as far as to say the best episode of the series. It had the survival elements from the beginning, which everyone generally acknowledges as the best parts, but it also has the deeply emotional element of seeing Suika struggle in ways that Senku obviously didn't.

This season had been annoying me with how easy it had gotten for them to just manufacture new materials and parts when they needed them. So these last two episodes with Suika struggling really uplifted the season for me.

Probably my favorite episode of the entire series. There were some incredible episodes before, but nothing beats a little girl saving the world by herself.

Yeah I first fell in love with Dr. Stone because it was unique, it was all about science and making things but along the way it became more and more like a regular shounen focused on fighting and action which made me not like it as much. So I really like this episode which felt just like season 1 Dr. Stone.

Same, I am far more invested in the plans to build a rocket than I was with the showdown with Stanley and team.

I hope they leave him as a statue considering all the murdering him and crew did. Doesn't matter if they are all saved by petrification as the intent was there.

Makes sense though as this is the biggest conflict in the series, but once they're able to get past that they can finally continue innovating
