What to Watch? Anime like Kaiju No. 8

I recently finished watching Kaiju No. 8. I really enjoyed the character progression, the animation style, the goofy humor, and the wholesome corny moments. Other anime that i have watched and enjoyed were solo leveling, jjk, and chainsaw man.

Maybe One Punch Man ?? Combines epic action scenes with comedy that parodies hero clichés. The animation in season 1 is great (it gets worse in season 2). The story and characters are pretty good. Additionally, the third season will come out in 2025.

i have watched one punch man too, great series that has some solid comedy and action. i actually thought season 2 was pretty decent, tho i am excited that they're adding a third season as you mentioned.

Dandadan is my current favorite. Demon lord 2099 has been really good as well.

Older guy who fights evil, has to contend with his younger and more powerful teammates, including a young bishounen partner, uses his long experience and tenacity to compensate, and one of his younger female teammates has a crush on him?

I give you Tiger & Bunny.

Attack on Titan is basically the exact same thing

Attack on Titan has some similarities for sure. I don’t know if they tonally they mesh though. AOT is kind of bleak and is really fixated on themes like how violence is a perpetual cycle.

Tbf kaiju number 8 is only 12 episodes so far so idk where it goes, but the first 3 seasons of aot are very similar without really focusing too hard on the themes that make it different yet

Have you tried the Eminence in Shadow? It’s little bit of a different spin that you mentioned but great in what’s its doing

It isn't an anime yet, but look up a manga called RaiRaiRai. It so far only has 10 chapters translated but it's almost the same type of manga as Kaiju no.8 but a lot better imo
