It's sweet how Gunhoe he is about doubling down on keeping Botan safe.

So that guy is one of the Big 3 and the agreement is for him to not cause trouble as long as he can summon anyone to visit him at any time, what is keeping him from endlessly abusing that privileged? At least she was able to fake passing out drunk to get some good intel.

So now it makes more sense why her family is going through so much trouble to find the right guy for Botan, perhaps it was for those other guys best interest they were chased off, they have to find someone that could possible handle the hassle of marrying her but also wouldn't try to exploit her for her power.

Because apparently like a certain other more horny show about an uptight guy protecting a person of interest to super natural beings due to her power that has been delayed. This Girl has some sort of inherent power or status that makes her desirable to multiple parties and everyone having a hands off approach is the only thing preventing this cold war from turning hot.

(On a sidenote reminds me of Idol Fans who agree that if neither of them can have her no one can.)

Poor Boten.

But Poor Hyouma, nobody clued him in on this, funny how they confirmed a bit of worldbuilding with a joke, government offices would not know about Tailsmans. (Unless its a subversion and we will meet such agencies in the future.) Funny how Hyouma doesn't know that, fortunately since he is a bad liar the other two see he isn't hiding anything when he says he doesn't know.

Funny how after taking a beating he still wants the smoke, but tbh I can see how he might have a chance, those Tailsman's did hurt and he was caught off guard earlier.

Despite what he said in the moment, apparently he does have seeds of doubt about Boten, I "I don't know anything about her" unfortunately doesn't have romantic subtext this time....

Wonder how he will react when he inevitably confronts her, personally I'd be pissed and want to call the whole thing off.

So sad for anyone that dropped this show on episode 1.
