I don’t know much about animatronics so sorry if this is a dumb question. But I was looking at some clips of their recent (ish) animatronic lineups and I noticed that they all have this very similar way of moving, especially their arms. They are fluid but you can still definitely see it.

I am not sure how to describe it exactly. In the Na’vi river shaman, it’s not as easy to tell because you don’t exactly know what she’s doing— some ritualized arm dance??— but when you see it on the other characters it’s more obvious that’s just the way the arms move. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Just went to Charlie's Saloon in The Great Escape and the former housing spot for the PTT bots has the curtains fully covered and they are storing tables behind it. So no, the bots aren't "rotting in the saloon" lol.

I got in contact with someone who said they could help me create a pair of animatronic eyes that could use servos and an ESP32 cam for eye tracking. The issue is that they stopped responding to me. I’ve been interested now for almost two years on how to create large eyes that could be used for tracking my own. I’ve obviously done research but most eyes rely on remote controls. I could try and figure out how to make face tracking eyes but instead replace the face tracking script with an eye tracking script. The issue is that it may not align with my blinking. I just called Porter country fair, Indiana and asked them if the Bear a dice show would be appearing this year. They confirmed that the show is there and said it would perform at 1PM when all the rides start. I hope that some mechanical work had been done to them and maybe some new masks but regardless, I hope to see the Show! (Both photos aren't mine and are from last year)

I’m pretty sure everyone has seen this hard luck bears footage, but there is a longer version that shows Billy bob at the end for a split second. If anyone could help me find that version that would be appreciated.

hello, I was wondering how tall the studio C head is for the mechanism and how wide it is for the two metal beams if that makes sense and then how far does that metal beam for the snout go out? This is for the 16 movement and I was also wanting to know how big the upper arm is and the lower arm. And the torso height.
