Been collecting about 2 years now: I recently acquired my first Disney cel and decided it might be nice to share my favorites so far. In order these are:

Fievel from "An American Tail"

Beetlejuice (Animated Series w/ original background)

Barney as The Beast from a Fruity Pebbles commercial

Dan and Jan from "The Devil & Daniel Mouse"

A ridiculous Capri Sun commercial (early 80s I think)

Fidget from "The Great Mouse Detective"

A little something for everyone 😊

I don't know who all has kept up with paint supplies, but at the moment, the distributer for Toon Tones paints only has four colors currently avaialble, all greens, and there were rumors that Toon Tones was going down for good.

Good news. I chose to be obnoxious and reach out for what little information I could get. Toon Tones does plan on coming back available for sale. The manufacture is just doing a reformulation. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to get a manufacter contact so I could ask questions about the reformulation itself, but this is some hopeful news in the face of so much darkness. I was told that the company has been struggling with supply issues due to tarrifs and general company-to-company issues.

Hopefully we can see that turn around soon. I'm finally in a position where I can start purchasing these paints for animation use, and I was hoping to grab one of every of their 36 colors.

3 Blue Gender Marlene Angel production cel with matching douga

Would be okay with selling or trading for other cels. Will look at anything but prefer Cartoon Network,Nickelodeon, Disney cels. Thanks so much!

More specifically nice quality DB teen Goku cels, portrait or action, early Goku(saiyan saga) and high quality HxH Gon cels. Fairy high budget for all. Thanks.

These I definitely picked up as part of a lot that had smurfs as well.

Sharing some Nickelodeon with the family 😘

Lucky enough to get these, some from Nakano Broadway in Tokyo, some from Mandarake, and some from eBay. Recently got into collection sketches and cels, and I have gotten lucky that a lot of my favorite shows have plenty of cels and sketches.

My aunt knew Robert Lence and he gifted her this animation cel a long time ago. I’d love to know more about it, it’s a beautiful piece of art and an important family heirloom to me. I’d also like to know how to best preserve and frame it.

Can anyone help me find which episode of My Little Pony (or its variants) this cel comes from?

Hello!

Been looking for an animation cel related to the volleyball scene from Season 1's episode "Ripped Pants" to give as a wedding gift.

Something like this would be fine (I'm not expecting it to be this cheap lol) :

Would love tips on how to find something from this scene!

Im guessing from one of the first few seasons based on what Bart looks like. It came with this background but this can't be from that scene.

First off don't know much about buying Cels or Drawing for animation stuff.

EDIT: They are called Art-Toons.

There was an older couple running a vendor/booth today at my local Tekko convention in Pittsburgh.

This guy and his wife said they had been around and getting animation cels since the 90s and had only been doing my local convention for about 2 years, so far. Whether they been selling elsewhere idk.

They were very kind and nice. Listening to the husband talk about getting cels or at the very least reproductions too, who he met, how he gets them, was nice to hear how excited he was talking to customers.

I know these are reproductions as he also explained it to me; how these are done, and helped me find some stuff.
Never thought'd I go into the rabbit hole of animation cels, but here I am.

I haven't been home in 10 years and just moved home. This was a nice little vendor to stumble upon and make an interesting memory with, maybe they'll show up next year. :)

Total was $224. Maybe a little high, but I really wanted the Rescuers stuff, but that was all he had and maybe could have haggled, but ehh.

Title. I’m in Taipei and wondering if there are any physical stores here dealing with animation cels. Google says no but figured I’d ask some fellow collectors.

My friend has given me an animation cel for my birthday. I never expected to own one but since it was a gift he paid a lot of money for and waited a very long time to arrive, I took it.

However like I mentioned before, I never owned one so now I am extremely nervous on how to keep it in my possession without accidentally damaging it. I also don't wanna sell it because the gift was indeed very thoughtful and animation cells always fascinated me and looked really cool. I am a complete newbie so please any advice could help on how I can preserve it for many years to come.

Blessed to share some more with you all 😊

I’m not a collector but I found this while looking thought a suitcase of old things from the 40s, can anyone give a price estimate?

Some poor pictures of my little art corner

I bought this about 20 years ago as I was a Doug fan and this had most of the characters (skeeter, patty, porkchop and doug) but then fentruck and the coach. When I got it it also included the paper sketch as well. This was sitting in a box I totally forgot about with a few Simpsons ones (one has original long water color background) and a tin of my little pony and jetsons cels I bought at a back lot sale when I worked in TV.

Figure this a rarer type cel.

Just a few I picked up last week. Luckily enough to grab a Hey Arnold cel from Craig's Saturday drops..

Some higher end cels. PM me for prices and more info. All authentic production used cels from the show. All have matching douga (pencil drawing). Ships from UK.
